Is The Last Of Us a good game?

I was thinking of buying it because the wait for TWD episodes is sometimes very long.Is it like TWD game?Rate it out of 10 please.That would really help.)))

    I liked it. I think it's very overrated though, far too many stealth sections that got really boring really fast. The beginning of the game is actually really good and I like the crafting system, surprisingly well done. I'd totally get it, my rating would be 8/10 but only because it doesn't try anything new and plays it a bit too safe in storytelling and gameplay but it's without a doubt a really good game.

    I enjoyed it, for the most part at least. There were a few moments that were just ridiculous in difficulty or the objective wasn't clear enough and I ended blindly running around trying to figure out what to do for 10 minutes. There were also moments that seemed a bit boring, like they dragged out longer than they needed to. The story is nothing special, but that doesn't really matter, at least it has a story. Graphics are amazing, combat seems a bit strange at times. Overall, I liked it, not sure what I would rate it though. It is definitely overrated and not as great as every body says it is, I personally prefer GTA 5 over this game.

    I think it tops the walking dead in emotional parts, it has an excellent 16 hour story, and you have to play smart to progress. It also doesn't use the Walking Dead's killswitch to make emotional moments *cough*omid*cough*. The crafting is a great mechanic, but is very forgiving on the easier difficulties, I'd play on hard if you want a full experience. Combat does get repetitive if you run and gun, but I always enjoy stealthing through stealth-optional areas. I've completed it about 6 times, and I learn something new everytime, there're so many little touches that didn't have to be there, but they make the game much more believable in result (Like when you shine a flashlight on a friendly, they squint and cover their face).Don't even get me started on the multiplayer, I don't usually play for long online, but TLOU's online is amazing and balanced.

    It was definitely my GOTY over 20-fps theft auto, and has better graphics than most ps4 games. 10/10. People who say it's overrated are entitled to their opinion but I don't think ''overrated'' applies here, the last of us is ''The Citizen Kane of Gaming''.

    No decision making or dialogue trees, combat is open-ended. Personally, I think it makes tlou better, as Joel's character develops greatly throught the story.

    I feel like it lacked in emotion, like it had the emotion, but the way they executed it was lacking compared to The Walking Dead. All the character deaths in TLOU aren't very effective because we don't even get a chance to get to know the characters for long, they pretty much die quickly after being introduced to them. Even the moments without character deaths (The "thin ice" moment in the house, the entire ending) Those weren't even that emotional, at least I didn't feel anything. I've only played it once, I'm not sure if I would play it again, but like I said earlier, I did enjoy the game.

    The Last Of Us is a really good game. I don't understand why some are trying to compare or argue which is better TWD or TLOU, both games have their strengths and differences. Both are really awesome games, no need to pick a winner!

    The main game was great, but the DLC wasn't that great. I'm not homophobic whatsoever, but it was obvious that naughtdog made Ellie a lesbian just for the reaction and attention they'd get for it, pretty sick to use sexuality in a way to get more attention, but so many people do it now when there are people out there that are actually struggling with accepting themselves :I

    My favourite game of all time the gameplay and story are perfection this game is priceless and must be experienced in my opinion I would so why be probably be 100 lines of how badass this game is lol 10

    2. While I agree, the scene wasn't needed, and it probably did get the DLC more attention, you should be complaining about many other games (recently Wolfenstein and Bound By Flame) that advertise sex to sell.

    Well it did get game of the year alot... And that's conpetong with gta 5 so that's pretty damn good. It's not really like TWD that much other than it has zombies and a girl and a fatherly figure. Stories very different, but TLoU is a very good game none the less

    It's kinda generic, honestly. If you can get past the bad AI, Cliched storyline and shooting a million people in the head, then I guess you get some enjoyment out of it.
