Do you think Clementines growth is stunted?
If you're a kid in the apocalypse with limited food most kids growth would be stunted I would think. She seems pretty short for an 11 year old girl, I actually hope she's a little shorter than most adults when she grows up.

Probably hasn't helped. You need a lot of food and sleep to grow, and I imagine Clementine isn't getting a whole lot of either.
Her growth over that time skip was actually pretty insignificant if you compare the character models. Really, she just thinned out and grew upwards ever so slightly. And from what I remember of primary school, that was around when girls shot the hell up.

I think so. Her parents looked pretty tall, so she should be taller. Or maybe shes just a late bloomer. I remember when I was 11 I was SHOT AS HELL but when I got to 13/early 14 I grew a shit load. im taller than my mom now.

Well Clementine doesn't get many vitamins or minerals. She's lucky if she gets anything that's really good for her. Hell, she's lucky if she even does get to eat at all.
Well, when I was 11 I was like 5'... but yeah, it appears her growth has been stunted and in a totally not-creepy way, her 'woman growth' has also been stunted, or it appears that way, just from my personal knowledge on these things.

Holy shit... i've grown more than that in like 6 months... and is it just me or does post-timeskip Clem look like she has a strangely thin head... even though that's not at all how she is in any part of the game or even before the timeskip?
Yeah, I take it as a loss of 'baby fat' but her hat seems to have re-adjusted itself to fit her new head width. Kinda weird to look at. :S
On a side note...funniest thing about this? She's still almost as tall as Omid was.

She looks like she's around the right height for an 11 year old.
But then again, everyone grows at different rates.
Her growth may be delayed due to malnutrition, but she will still almost certainly grow to an average height, even if it's a few years later than average. Starvation can slow down the onset of adolescent growth, but it won't prevent it from happening.

To be fair, I stayed about 5 feet tall until I was 11 or 12 years old, at which point I rapidly grew to my current height in the next year or so (5'6.)
It's possible, though. We really won't know. I think it'd be interesting to see her grow more if there was a months-or-more timeskip before season 3, though.
On my case, I just began to really grow up at my fourteens
Pretty much the same for me, I was fairly average height when I was 11-13 but suddenly shot up until I was about 6'3 at age 16. I'm pretty much that exact same height now, 13 years later.
I'm wired to see Clem as pretty short though, seeing as I spent the first 13 years of my life with every girl I knew being taller than me while she looks shorter than I was. :C

She's definitely lost a lot of her baby fat, though.
Her cheeks were a lot more puffy.
In a few scenes where Season 2 Clem is puffing her cheeks, she looks a lot like her younger self.
Me too, when I was 14 I was about 4'11 land the next year I was 5'6. Girls usually mature faster though but one user said that malnourishment only delays your growth.

I think Clementine will grow up to be a woman of very impressive stature. She's constantly on her feet, pulling stunts and working harder than everyone else. Clem seems to get enough nourishment, as she doesn't often even bring up hunger. The things she's most deprived of are probably sleep and water. I don't get how anyone can think she's small for an 11 year old girl. Aside from her height, she could easily pass for 14 or 15 years old. Hopefully Clementine will live long enough to reach her peak.
The girl barely eats and she's so skinny. I feel sorry for Clem.
I have no idea how tall I am, but guys, I think I found out a way to figure out how tall Clem could be. Okay, just find a scene of her side by side with an inanimate object like a shelf, find the equivalent item of that object in the real world (Like find out what object the model is based off of) then measure that item in person. Then just simply stack the model until it reaches her height and you should have a semi-accurate answer, I think. Actually, I don't know if this would work. Somebody go try this out.

Yeah she didn't really grow at all other than her height and her face. Ofc when she gets a bit older she gonna go through puberty but she probably won't change a whole lot...
Not quite. She is a little taller. But, even at that age, she's not gonna grow a foot in a year, specially if she's not meant to be that tall anyway. Of course, we can't know how well fed she was during the 16 month gap and starvation would've obviously halted her growth, but, for some reason, I expect Christa to have taken good care of Clem in that area, no matter how hard it would've been. If you ask me, Becca's case is way worse. She looks the exact same in 400 days as she does now.
eh, she's 11, cant really know yet about 'woman growth'. maybe in about 3 years we can say her 'woman growth' is stunned
