I really like it but it's not the same as TWD since there is a LOT of gameplay in it and the character are completely different like for example Ellie cusses like a sailor. I'd give it a 9.5 out if 10 since some levels can get frustrating
The Last of Us is a pretty good game - its more of a traditional triple AAA game then the indy thing TWD does. The story and characters were pretty interesting, but the game-play in the SP is a little underwhelming. I often found myself trudging through bandit camp after bandit camp just to progress the story. The SP game-play isn't bad per se, it just gets realllly repetitive. The infected encounters were pretty memorable though, especially the abandoned hotel in Pittsburgh...
The MP is amazing! It is my favorite part of the game. While the game-play was stiff and repetitive in the SP, it really hits its groove in the MP. It's kind of like this tactical squad based shooter that reminds me a lot of the old SOCOM games. I've had this game for over a year and it still keeps my interest...sadly infected (TLoU equivalent of zombies in TWD) are no where to be found here.
FYI do not buy the SP dlc!!! Left Behind was a shameless cash grab that just repeats a story the main game already tells you about. 90% of it involves two teenage girls hanging out in an abandoned mall...if that sounds like fun to you then by all means go ahead and spend 15 dollars for 1 1/2 hours worth of content. If you are still curious about Left Behind after all that...I recommended watching a Let's Play on Youtube before you throw your money away.
Overall definitely worth a rent...if you like the MP I'd say buy it. It's a fun game, but when people start calling it the "Citizen Kane of Gaming", you know they've been drinking the kool aid a little too much. It's a quality game, but far away from perfect as many fans would let you believe.
The whole DLC kinda revolves around Ellie and Riley's relationship, and just flashes forward to show the contrast between her future and past self. I don't know, maybe I'm just fine with it because I was hungry for more TLOU. :P
Yes, but that's the only good part of the game. If you take away the fact that they are interested in eachother and replace it with just an … moreaverage friendship, what is the DLC? I didn't think there was a point to it anywho, we already knew what happened to Riley in the main story, since it was mentioned multiple times. The DLC just failed so much that when I was playing it I found myself constantly saying "What is this DLC?" during the entire thing, though they did get me to cry at the end of the DLC, even though I already knew that Riley was going to die and Ellie was going to live.
Players were so mesmerized by the graphics that they lacked to see the flaws of it XD I'm joking, I agree it's overrated to hell, but the graphics are rather nice.

A PS3 Owner should really grab it. I just don't like how Sony pretended it to be the Last Big Bang for the PS3 and then they sneakily came with the 'Remake' Announcing for the PS4. The Term 'Remake' alone makes me pretty ranting. I mean its not even a friggin Year old.
As for the Game itself. Sometimes i calling it WD with Bigger Budget. The Relationships has similarities with WD S1. Ellie just isn't like Clem. She swears a lot, heh. Probably more Becca-ish and yet likeable. For the Becca Complainer ^^

I have played it before, like I played through the campaign 7 times. It is by far my favorite game of all time. I love the gameplay (always been a stealth fan and this game got the stealth gameplay perfect). The story is absolutely amazing, so many feels. The multiplayer is some of the best multiplayer I ever have played. It's just an overall great game. Like IGN and so many other companies I am giving this game a 10/10, it's a masterpiece.
(I already got it pre-ordered on the PlayStation Store for PS4, btw when you get The Last of Us get it for PS4 if you can because it's beautiful on PS3 so I can't imagine how amazing it is going to look for PS4.

I felt the same way when i played the game and saw Elly kissed her friend, whatever her name was. i was like uh ok. What was the point of putting that in there except to excite the pedos. It made me feel uncomfortable. I don't care what sexual pref she was, but why did that have to be known in the game.

Its okay, it isn't anything that will blow you away , but it a entertaining game to play. Play Max Payne 3, if you haven't. I think it is better than this game. I would give it a seven. I think this game is so over hyped, don't buy it unless it is on sale In my Opinion. .
