So... should we expect the same for Episode Four?

No this isn't about comparing the quality of TWAU Episode Four to the future Episode Four of TWDG... I'm just saying, TWAU E4 was released really quickly after TWDG E3, only two weeks after... so, if they keep that pattern, does that mean we might get screenshots next week, like how it was with TWAU? One can dream...

Theres no info on the steam database yet http://steamdb.info/app/261030/history/ they normally give us screenshots once the game is nearly completed and uploaded.

  • I hope that's true

Nah, I doubt that, it was six weeks until they released Episode 4.

And, sorry for offtopic, Juice_Box, but, are those your comments on YouTube (you know, where you respond to You-Know-Who, She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named)?

If so, then I applaud you. It's good to see someone still fighting her and her underling(s).

  • You're probably right about the release date... but I enjoy being optimistic :P

And yeah, those comments from "Juice box TWDG" are all me. I hope you-know-who understands why she's wrong even though she probably won't do to her being extremely in denial...

I would have foolishly expected her to give you a straight answer, but it all just went down to "OH GAHD SKOTT PORDER IZ SOH CUTTE", "CLUKE4LIFE" and shit, and the way she just ends it with "You're boring, I'm gonna block you from now on" is so immature.

Meh, I remember this shit being here on January till February, and, by God, was she annoying (she still is, now she has help, though). I'm glad she's gone, even if not permanently.

  • I gotta say, I expected my daily dose of complaining when I read the title. You got me.

  • I think TWAU Episode Four has been a bit underrated just because everyone pays attention to the length of the episode... it's annoying to see it was only 70 something minutes, but it was still a pretty good episode... or at least in my opinion.

  • Most people were not satisfied with the lenght and they let that cloud their judgement. It was short, but it was by no mean trash or awful. I felt like it was a good build-up for the season finale. I actually expected it to be short all along given how fast it came out. The waiting was like a month or so, right ?

  • That other person is her white knight, Stephen. He made some YTPs some time ago, but now he has become a white knight, who speaks with You-Know-Who as an old friend, and jumps in every conversation she has to support her.

    Disgusting, that.

  • Exactly, things should be judged by the overall quality or writing, not by the length of it, although I would prefer 2 hours episodes... it doesn't make sense to criticize it for such a minor characteristic.

  • Yeah, and to think a lot of people support him...

Is it strange for me to think they're the same person? Either he's crazy as hell to support her or he's a real life friend of hers or some shit...

  • You and me need to pay attention in class. If an Episode is short it automatically becomes garbage. No questions asked.

Repeat that ten times and you'll fit right in.

It was called "smart filler" by one user and I agree somewhat. Quite a bit of setup, some small closure with some people/things and little "emotional payoff". It still was a good one, and it has curiously handled the illusion of choice (at least with the little things and relationship-building department) better than Season 2, in my eyes; nothing groundbreaking, mind you, but it has.

Oh, and yeah, it was short. We all need to stop hoping for them to be otherwise.

I think I enjoy TWDG much more (which is why I'm hardly on TWAU forum),but TWAU Episode Four was a lot better than TWAU Episode Two, so it is improving! I don't know why, but I really didn't like episode two. It might have been the fact that the cliff hanger felt slightly weird to me, for whatever reason, and I do feel really awkward when there are strippers involved with things...

Yeah, it was better than Smoke and Mirrors. I expected all of the remaining episodes to be better than Smoke and Mirrors.

EDIT: I expect In Sheep's Clothing to stand out more once we get to play the whole season in one go.

  • I'm not sure if you've read the comics or not, but all of that happened in the comics. Also, just because you don't like the show doesn't mean it has bad writing. By saying that, you're making your opinion sound like a fact, which it's not.
