I don't remember exactly when, but it must've been around the same time for me. The thing is that women start their puberty earlier, so we may have a reason to worry about this. Clem, however, doesn't really looks like she's hit puberty.
This article actually says that Zimbabwean girls (from a particularly malnourished region) were shorter than average (<50th percentile) at Clem's age, but had catch up growth and, by the ages of 16 and 17, they were average height. It's the boys who couldn't catch up.
Good point and 11 year olds usually do get some 'woman growth' but then again, it's probably because of all of the food and drinks filled to the rim with body changing hormones... and I don't assume Clem even has much food anymore so...
Yeah she didn't really grow at all other than her height and her face. Ofc when she gets a bit older she gonna go through puberty but she probably won't change a whole lot...
Zimbabwean girls' height and weight were not as low, but did drop as low as the 25th percentile. However, catch-up growth did occur during mid-teens and by 16 and 17, the girls average was close to the 50th percentile.
Looks like you should've read the whole article. Clementine may suffer adverse effect from long term starvation, of course, but this more than likely isn't going to be one of them.
She's definitely lost a lot of her baby fat, though.
Her cheeks were a lot more puffy.
In a few scenes where Season 2 Clem is puffing her cheeks, she looks a lot like her younger self.
Kids grow in height noticeably faster than adults. I remember one time my mom said I grown one foot in just a year. People always commented on my height back then, I was noticeably taller than most people my age.
I know nothing about natural growth. I'm 14 and 6'2". (Don't worry, it's died down). But for me, I started "growing" when I was 11. So, if Clementine just turned 11 more recently than not, I thin her height is average.
I know that. I just remember everyone shooting up at 11, girls anywho. I guess we'll really see for sure if any potential season 3 takes place further into the future.
It still isn't much for a kid to grow in nearly two years.
Clem is probably a little taller than the average height of a light switch. I was pretty short when I was 11 but now I'm 5'11" at age 15. Im Not the tallest but certainly not the shortrst
The reference-image you used in this thread for comparison is wrong. Old Clem is too short in that image. Some of you might have already see… moren the one I made for my art-thread http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/70996/clem-lost-her-hat-no-spoilers-inside
It shows the actual height difference between the models used in the game

I'm going to wait till she's like 14 to say if her growth was stunned. Bit for now, I can't say..
I grew to 6'4 ft in 2 years.

Your avatar is epic.
Chill out dude. No need for that. It's not as if i was saying a bad comment towards her.

When I was 11 I was 4' 11" and I'm now 5' 9 at 17.
Still shorter than everybody I know though.
5'9 at 17? Ha, that's taller than I was at 17.
Whenever I see that Gif I see a floating hand. It gets me every time. O_O
In the bottom picture she's actually chewing food. Remember that part, she swallows it as Rebecca comes in saying; "Oh you're still here."

Oh.
I would say so. She doesn't eat properly, so that can't be good for her young brain.

What? I'm 13 and I'm just 4'9.
Hm, interesting. That's a bit more impressive.
She already is
That's what she said
