Reggie was unreliable and a hazard to the community. Hell I liked Reggie, but I also liked Ben and when someone is a problem they are a problem. You can't play favorites when you are in a position of leadership. Maybe i'm sick. I mean in the real world if I was Reggie's boss i would have fired him. In TWD you can't exactly just fire someone. I would never kill someone for making a couple mistakes even in TWD but if you keep screwing up it stops being a choice.
Maybe i'm wrong and maybe i'm a horrible person, but i'm not opposed to hearing a different viewpoint. Even if i disagree with it. It's how we learn.
Reggie was harmless!
He was a nice guy, who just got a bum break.
He didn't deserve to get killed.
Carver was an asshole!
Just because Reggie was a cripple, doesn't mean he was invaluable.
If that were so, Herschel would've been a liability to the group with his one leg.
And instead, look how much he added to the group!
* Reggie was crippled.
* Reggie broke the rules.
* Examples have to be made.

Well you have your opinion, for me it would ruin it and everything him and Clem went through. I see why it would be good but i'd just hate it. I'm a kenny fan
As for Kenny's previous actions, you have to ask yourself, would you do the same in Kenny's situation? I would (well maybe not what he did on hershels farm, i would have helped shawn after saving my son.
Anyhow, point is we all have our opinions right? They are neither right nor wrong
agreed with Flog61. not all growth is positive. just because a character doesn't adapt they way you want doesn't mean the character has been… more ruined. if anything it makes sense. Kenny has been a dark character for a long long time now. if you think he is a "good" guy you might want to do some revisiting of his character defining moments and the actions he chose. he believes himself a hero, but his actions say otherwise.

But it DIDN'T ruin everything they went through because clem survived and she continued on with things he taught.
Lee's death worked really well, even though no-one specifically wanted him to die, and the same can be said about Kenny (although he is a much less popular character than lee due to his incredibly controversial actions/racism)
Carver's death, in my opinion, was one of the most powerful scenes in the game thus far, I agree that someone else probably should have killed Carver quickly and gotten it over with, but Kenny's execution of him serves a much bigger purpose.
Amen.
It's nice to be able to discuss our different opinions, our favorite character's, and keep it all nice, friendly and respectful.
To … morebad some people are not able, or perhaps unwilling, to do as we are now.
We both have expressed our different views and opinions to each other, and yet we've remained courteous and friendly about it.
It's a great way to be!

The entire cabin group broke the rules. Bonnie broke the rules. Alvin killed one of Carver's men. Reggie may have had a disability, but he was still active in Carver's compound and on the verge of returning to Carver's good graces. Carver is not a good enough example of how to survive and do-what-must-be-done because he allows his personal interests and feelings to interfere too much with his role as a leader. Had he cut his losses and allowed the cabin group to leave? His compound wouldn't have fallen. Had he not shot/beaten Alvin or Walter in retribution, Kenny and Rebecca wouldn't have been nearly as pissed off as they were. The same goes for Reggie. One mistake sent him over the edge and he murdered him. He threw away a worker for the sake of an example that did more to hurt his role as a leader than to help put any kind of lesson in Clementine's head.
I don't believe in necessary cruelty to survive. Lilly was considered by most to be a ball-buster but everything she did was to protect the group; even she acted with less self interest than Carver. Playing the game as a cruel survivalist who will turn their back on those they view as burdens is ultimately being just as selfish as every poorly constructed villain that came after The Governor. Everything you did in Season 1 was about preserving Clementine's life as well as her humanity; why would you drive a wrecking ball through that in Season 2?

yes the entire cabin group broke the rules. but an example had to be made, and the one that hurt the least to be used as an example was unfortunately Reggie. And the lesson wasn't for Clem it was for Sarah.
I also agreed with and liked Lilly and Larry.
The key difference between you and I are that you don't see cruelty as necessary. Which is a valid view and i respect it and understand it. I just don't agree that it's the best way to protect a group.
I mean in reality, if the world went into a zombie apocalypse I wouldn't have to worry about it. Because I don't think a "group" is what is best for survival in the first place. Myself and either 1 or 2 other survivors is more than enough. Anything larger than a group of three is going to be too tough to maintain and too many people are going to butt heads.
So while if you are going to have a group Carvers way of running things is best. But having a large group isn't a good idea anyway you go about it.
As for preserving her humanity... That's not how i played the first game. I taught her to survive. I even said too her at the end stay away from people and don't trust them. Your Clem is not my Clem.
But that is a big part of why this game is so great. It reflects the personality of the people playing it. Everyones Clem is going to be unique.

Carver's thinking was animalistic.
I AM THE ONE WHO SALTLICKS!

Me too.
Did Lee dying ruin everything he and Clem went through?
I always do that while roleplaying, and I've found very few situations where I would do the same as Kenny.
Yes i wish Lee had lived

same here. there's a lot of gov look in his face now.
Oh shut up, kenny was not being even slighty racist, you guys will scream racism at the smallest things.
I think implying someone can pick locks because they're black is racist. Can you explain how it is not?

Breaking Carver`s face!
So do I.
I liked playing as Lee.
And if there's another playable character in season 3, I want it to be Kenny.
Listen Flog61 i respect your opinion, please respect mine. Its just how i would feel if that happened with Kenny
