Ok guys, had a busy week and couldn't get much done. Tons of overtime at work, but I can say that i'm currently painting Markd's Gravatar. Maybe I can squeeze another one out but i'm not too sure
So by tomorrow I'll try my best to arrive on time since I'm busy tomorrow. Hopefully if I appear, we can start that voting session. And I could release the art of my abandoned project.
PS my next TWD fan art will be a crossover of TWD with Attack on Titan and Kill La Kill (don't worry it's gonna be a good one). I'll post it here since it seems my posts are not appearing again in the fan art thread... -__-

Just sexier lol love the shadow on the character looks epic and much better to me so realistic while version 2 looks like an unfinished version 1.

Version 2 seems like the choice Jesus would choose. Im not gonna make Tobi lose his drawing hands because i wanted "pretty looking shadows" on the characters.
As a fellow artist I have to go with version 2, here's why. Version 2 looks much cleaner and professional.
Some constructive criticism on version 1: while the shading gives more depth and realism, it makes the overall quality drop. The shading is muddy and lacks sharpness.
Conclusion: if I was home I could propose some quick shading techniques that can make both versions work better. It would make the drawings look realistic without sacrificing time.

Hey don't feel bad for making Tobi work harder, that actually helps him more for his career. If Tobi really wants to do comics, he has to eat, breathe, and shit drawings. If he starts complaining then he isn't committed enough to follow his dreams. You can do it Tobi! You have to stay motivated and have a good attitude, keep practicing until your hands bleed. I know you can reach your dream.

It's not my decision on this one. it's yours this time. Whatever you think is best.
I think Version 2 is the better of the two. We'll get more stuff done, more details and faster releases, despite the downsides.

As a suggestion, why not try thicker borders to make the character "pop" a bit more?
