Admittedly, Ubisoft seem fond of releasing trailers - there seemed to be one every other week close to the release of Black Flag. Yet I wonder if in this case it was done because it's a new IP, and given the amount of money they're probably spent on it I imagine they feared not enough would buy it. Apparently that isn't the case.
On the GTA front, aside from what's mentioned above, there is much more of a stealth mechanic in this game, as well as a different perspective character-wise. In GTA you play as a criminal, no two ways about it, whereas in this you toe a sort of grey line where your morality is judged more by the media and civilian opinion, and it could go either way.
Perhaps if there is a sequel a more clearer distinction between the two series will show.
Ubisoft ruined the game by themself. They hyped and hyped and hyped it. They even showed us over 5 hours of gameplay and trailer since it wa… mores announced. It just doesn't feel as orginial as it should because I know so much about the game. If they maybe announced this game in january of this year the metacritic score would most likely be over 90 or something. Still fun but you're just to familiar with nearly everything this game has to offer.
I give it 7/10 because of what I said over and the fact that they could have focused more on the hacking aspect to make it feel less like a Gta clone.
As a matter of fact I am playing on Xbox 1! I will keep an eye out for a lurking dragon my gamertag is Sharpy102, so you would actually know if it's me now haha
Sounds like a challenge I think it's somehow transcended generic and achieved originality, and there's a nice ring to it. Anyway, I will keep a look out @_@

I've heard pretty good reviews other than the driving mechanics so I'll probably cop it in a month or two or decide to wait until holiday season to cop a ps4, xb1 or a steam rig with the game (maybe in a bundle).
I don't think the driving mechanics are too bad, they just need a bit of getting used to. There are skills to unlock which relate to vehicles also, such as improving off-road handling. I haven't got it on PS4, though I know they already have a bundle with it all in one box.

If you don't like Watch Dogs then you won't be interested in the rest of this post. If you are interested, however, then the tease in the linked article is something to look out for. Though Ubisoft will probably tell us all about it anyway. http://www.polygon.com/e3-2014/2014/6/11/5801528/ubisoft-watch-dogs-dlc-surprise

Better protect your data good.
EDIT: You can remove your gamertag from your comment if you see this, I removed mine.

Thanks for the random heads up? :P
Btw, are you enjoying Watch Dogs yourself, Mark?
In europe not sure if its released yet but plan on getting it soon ill check the reviews online first. Would you recommend it?
Yes! I'm liking the story and the online is pretty fun, as I said above. I personally think that it's a little bit better than GTA 5.
Im more of bully, max payne and red dead fan I didnt like gta 5 lol and thanks for the review ill definitely check it out
Next-gen no-good-varmint shoot-outs! XD
Just to mention, Watch Dogs is out in Europe.

I don't like it. GTA 5 is better in so many ways, the hype wasn't worth it, nor was the sixty dollars.
