What's wrong with Luke?

I don't think that's accurate. Firstly, we don't know how his separation from Kenny went down precisely. It could've been Luke trying to get Kenny to pull back and follow the group like he ended up doing and Kenny telling him off then going to take on Carver the more direct way because Luke's idea would've been like giving up to him. I highly doubt Luke just bailed without saying anything.

EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it, we know he at least tried to reason with Kenny because when asked Kenny mentions him 'whining' about something or the other and then Kenny telling him to take a hike.

Secondly, I think Luke has proven that he can take pressure, he was surprisingly calm considering the circumstances during both the walker attack and the stand-off with Matthew on the bridge.

  • I meant from the walker who was attacking you in the forest. Also you really believe the guy who couldn't kill a tyrant that killed his friends and imprisoned him would have left a little girl to die? Logic.

Pete did, if it wasn't for him Luke would have left me. Go back to darkness

  • True with after what maybe 30 minutes he was fainting and after not too long he began to look weak and a shade of grey with yellow eyes so I dont think Luke is bit

Luke's not bitten. He doesn't show the symptoms of a walker bite, such as the skin rotting, the white of his eye turning yellow, bags under

  • Yeah, for me too. And maybe Luke and Kenny argued about Clem ( choice who you want to sit with ) and after that Luke wanted just walk around and then Carver and the others came and Luke just took the opportunity to help them or sth... I don't know :D

  • Isn't he the same guy who wanted to leave Kenny behind after all the trouble he was in because of them? Don't tell me he just wanted to convince people to leave some other day because you have no proof. So???

  • Yeah, when Clem goes looking for him to give him a radio, there's a load of cardboard and sheets and stuff on the floor, and if you inspect it, Clementine asks "has he been sleeping here?" Which sort of explains why he's back to normal later on; because he managed to get some sleep.

  • Oh yeah, I forgot about that part. It definitely makes sense that he would've risked resting up in the comic store in anticipation of getting the radio and needing to be alert to monitor the guards for the group. And if he'd been bit, he certainly would have looked and acted worse when he woke up, not pretty much normal, if not a little worse for wear.

Did you not hear that he was playing the devil's advocate?

    Devil's advocate -
In common parlance, a devil's advocate is someone who, given a certain argument, takes a position they do not necessarily agree with (or simply an alternative position from the accepted norm), for the sake of debate or to explore the thought further. In taking this position, the individual taking on the devil's advocate role seeks to engage others in an argumentative discussion process. The purpose of such a process is typically to test the quality of the original argument and identify weaknesses in its structure, and to use such information to either improve or abandon the original, opposing position. It can also refer to someone who takes a stance that is seen as unpopular or unconventional, but is actually another way of arguing a much more conventional stance.

Yes I got that off of Wikipedia, but anyways. Luke wanted to stay, rest up, and bide their time, but the group wanted to leave that night so Luke took a position that he didn't agree with for the sake of argument so he can try to convince the group that postponing their escape is for the best. Sure it was an unpopular idea, but he used that argument to strengthen his reasoning of delaying the breakout.

Not everything is black and white in Telltale games. You have to look for a deeper meaning which you seem to have trouble grasping.

People can have 'flower crown Luke' and still deliver good points and lead great discussions.

I will get some downvotes for that, but if someone wants a flower crown avatar, they should have a flower crown avatar WITHOUT being downgraded because of it.

People in this forum should not be judged by their avatars!

A fanboy? Yes! At least Im not one of those Luke fangirls with a flower crown Luke as his avatar.

Luke's a nice guy, but I honestly wouldn't care if he died. It's not because I'm some Kenny fanboy believe me, although episode 3 Kenny earned a serious amount of respect from me.

  • luke is bit. even if he isn't i'd shoot him anyway for being useless,

  • Don't make fun of people like that. its not cool. they can like luke all they want and i know particular people who are big luke fans and have their pic as that and DONT make fun of Kenny fans, what you are is a Kenny fan making fun of luke fans. now stop.

A fanboy? Yes! At least Im not one of those Luke fangirls with a flower crown Luke as his avatar.

  • he just told you evident that was good enough.

I told you already its because he is useless and overrated in my opinion. Im not even a huge Kenny fanboy I have Crane as my avatar dude.

  • you have good real reason to dislike luke.

" i don like him because hes useless"

No, he's not useless. he was the one who came up with the plane to escape in the first place, making them escape. If Luke never helped them escape he wouldn't have been there to save her in the forest.

"Pete was the one who saved her"

Well first of all the both technically saved her. And they wouldn't have been able to save her if luke never made the plane to escape. so actuallyy luke was the one that saved her.

right now i can give you PLENTTY or reasons why kenny is useless. but there are also reasons why he isn't useless. same for luke.

Not enough proof. He would have left Clem behind if it wasn't for Pete them he criticizes the rest of his crew when they try to do the same. Useless and hypocritical
