What Did You Think of Reggie?
Was he a funny, likable guy? Or not?
Personally I didn't trust him the whole span of time I knew him. I thought he was gonna screw us over so he wouldn't get in trouble with Carver. Apparently some other people didn't like him either. I saw him referred to as The Walking Dead Game's Jar-Jar, which prompted me to make this thread.

He was a little odd to me. Though, I did feel bad when he 'tripped.'
I think the VA did a bad job
He was the Ben of Carver's group
He sounded exactly like himself
He wanted to stay in that rat hole -_- I didn't like him because he respected Carver. I also thought he was way over hyped by TellTale
I felt his voice acting was a little sloppy.
The character really didn't land for me. Maybe I felt a little bad for him, but mostly I anticipated him selling me out to get on Carver's good side too, and in general he was just kind of there to have a couple of snappy one-liners and get killed. I agree the VA was a little iffy as well. Mostly, he just feels like a waste of valuable episode time, tbh.
Like others, I felt that the voice acting was seriously lacking. It felt very awkward and stiff-sounding. He just didn't sound like he belonged in TWD. The other voice actors have been so much more natural that I normally don't even think about whether or not they're doing a good job because I'm more focused on the story/dialogue than their vocal acting abilities. Reggie was so bad, it was distracting.
If you're talking about just the character and not the acting then, I, like you, didn't fully trust him either. He seemed like the kind of guy who would crack and give up his comrades under pressure. He seemed like a Carver brown-noser, just aiming to please The Man, no conviction or determination to be free.
I thought it was weird that he asked where Pete and Nick were, but not Luke.
Or the person that ceased to exist, Nick's Mom.
I felt sympathy for his position on Carver and the importance of safety due to the loss of his arm. I can imagine such an accident would have a major effect on one's life and really put things into perspective. So I felt sorry for the guy and I thought he deserved better than that shock death he got. Something like finally standing up to Carver and dying for the group or something.
I liked him, he seemed nice. I also thought the whole "That was awkward" line to be pretty funny. Also, I didn't think his voice acting was bad, unlike a lot of other people.
He did want to be free, he had already tried to escape once... He was just acting like this because he was afraid of Carver.
He was alright, I didn't really care about him though.
I really don't see why people are blaming Sarah for his death, Carver would've killed him eventually anyway.
I really didn't care about him, when I heard his voice I thought his voice actor recorded the lines through a steelseries gaming headset. I even told Kenny I didn't trust him.
So yeah.
It definitely was Sarah's fault that Carver killed Reggie...but as you already mentioned, i also didn't realy care about him a whole lot!![:D :D](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Im sorry but his voice actor was horrible really didnt like it took away from the character and he had like no expression when speaking and when he tripped over from carver pushing him his shouting was just pure crap ....
I liked him in a vague sense... He was quite funny. His character served nicely as a vehicle to give insight into the camp and Carver's personality/ mentality.
Do you think Sarah expected him to straight up murder someone because of a few berries?
He makes a flashy sidewalk decoration, that is for sure.
he reminds me of Jar Jar
I found his funny lines to be funny but I find it hilarious that my Clementine enters the community, gets him in trouble within minutes of being in the yard, doesn't do her work the next day, and didn't speak up for him when Carver came poking around, then he dies.
My thought process was "Look I have enough dumbasses to look after (Nick, Sarah) you're on your own Reggie. And the last time I tested Carver he passed and I got smacked. I spoke up for Sarah that morning and felt like I dodged a bullet. I wasn't going to try my luck a second time."
In the end I will remember Reggie as the guy who couldn't handle keeping an eye on a little eleven year old girl.
I will remember him for being the most useless, boringest character in season 2 and has the worst voice actor.
Didn't trust him at all. Like Kenny said, the guy had been drinking the Kool aid a bit too long. Plus when he started blubbering to Carver about how he has one arm, it was clear he was just pathetic. Lee killed dozens of walkers with one hand not to mention some crazy acrobatics. So Reggie was just being a pussy.
I tried to like him since the cabin group seemed fond of him and even cared enough to not get him in trouble. He was just personally unlikable to me (that head pat with Clem... just ugh), but I still felt shaken when he was murdered and passed on the news to anyone I could.
I liked him as a character, though I did wish that we could speak to him and learn more about him. I liked how he got a backstory for his name though and how Sarita reacted to Kenny asking. In terms of VA, I'm going to give this guy a break mainly because I don't think this person has ever done VA before so as a first VA job I'd say he did pretty well.
Nope...obviously not. But if Sarah wouldn't have acted like a total moron, Reggie might actualy still be alive! (And don't take this offensive please, i don't hate Sarah. But she needs to grow the fuck up to survive in this world.)
Carlos sheltered Sarah from the Zombie Outbreak. It wouldn't suprise me if he decided to shelter her from the violence before the outbreak as well.
Friggin' adorable.
I even felt a piece of me die when Carver killed him off because of me (I helped Sarah and didn't know if he was determinant, I kind of figured though).
I actually sort of liked Reggie's voice, it sounded friendly and kind of funny for a change. For the character, I sort of found him annoying with the way he kept whining about how he had to work hard to get to his position. But he seemed nice among the other people that worked for Carver, by making sure Sarah was alright after getting punished. But I was really sad when Carver pushed him off of the building, he was an interesting character.
I thought he was odd and I didn't trust him his VA wasn't that great and it sounded like he had no emotion when he was speaking and I felt he was being kind of pathetic with the I only have one arm excuse I know it would be hard but look at all Lee did with one arm he jumped buildings and caught himself with no help, traversed through Savannah's rooftops, pushed through thousands of walkers, faced off against the stranger, and still took care of Clem after all of that.
Was I the only person who didn't completely hate him?
Sure, he was ignorant for thinking that Carver's community wasn't that bad, but he really didn't do anything to stop our group from escaping, he even offered to help us! ..as long as we didn't get him in trouble, but I think that's a fair thing to ask. He certainly wasn't a complete "badass manly man" but he was funny and awkward, and in my opinion that was refreshing. Also I didn't think the voice actor was horrible. The voice fit well with Reggie's awkward personality and it was something different.
Not trying to be rude to anyone, but I just wish people wouldn't hate on Reggie so much. Even if you didn't like him, it's not like we're going to see him again anyways.
I didn't completely hate him I thought he was just trying to get out of the "prison" and I felt that he may sell us out to Carver if things got tense and while I didn't hate the VA I just didn't particularly care for it too much but it is cool how the man who voices reggie also voices Prismo from Adventure Time
That's a good point.. Reggie selling out the group to earn more trust from Carver, but personally I don't think Reggie was the kinda guy who would do that to his friends. You could be right, though. Oh and it is pretty cool that the VA voices Prismo!![:) :)](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
To be honest, his character was wasted potential. Yeah, he was a good guy and that, but, he didn't last at all long and we barely knew anything about him. And, the voice acting wasn't very good.
He was okay, just rather... thick headed.
I didn't expect him to be killed off and I have trust issues anyway so with the situation and how all he wanted was to get out of there it made the most sense and I feel he should have understood why we wanted to get the hell out of the camp
