What if we find Christa zombified?

Title says it all, what would you do if you find Christa as a zombie. The group is walking and they pass a zombie, Clementine and Kenny are behind them all and turns to look at the zombie trapped underneath a log reaching out (Similair to Lee's brother) and then they both stop stop and realisze it's Christa

You then have the option to either kill her or leave her?

Would you be affected by this death? In what way? Also would you kill a zombified Christa or just leave her?

  • that probably wont happen so I wont say how sad I will be if she dies.

  • I think we are more likely to find a motionless corpse rather than a walker.

  • Christa fans will cry!1!1!

  • I'd be sad.

If it happens, I hope Clementine has the chance to thank her for everything she's done and put her out of her misery.

    Nooooo don't say that.

The DLC is gonna be about her and how she's tracking down Clem.

Yes yes! Complete with flashbacks of when they were in happier times with Omid, and other not so happy ones between the 16 month time skip.
    Like the baby's death...

  • I always wonder why the fuck they never do that, why don't they ever fight walkers that have a chance of being someone they have encountered before. If you kill Danny he doesn't appear but if you don't he comes back in an episode and tries to kill ya as a walker, a little reference.

  • Brie came back as a walker in episode 5 after she had died in episode 4 at Crawford. It would also probably be very unlikely seeing that there are probably billions of walkers.

  • I'd riot.

But in all seriousness, that'd be super sad for Clem since it'd be like her parents and Lee all over again. To answer your question though if this does happen, which I hope it doesn't, I'd probably have Clem kill her since I can't just leave her there like that. It's the least I can do for her after taking care of Clem for 16+ months.

  • that. would. SUCK

  • I'll die.

    srs

    telltale plz no

There's so much potential with Rebecca's baby and her and shiiit and you just kill her.

  • I think it'd be a waste of her character, but I've said similar things about Omid's abrupt death.

  • I will cry....again.

  • That...that's not even how you use that meme. Here, let me help you out with that.

Clementine finding Christa in a zombified or dead state is a, somewhat, plausible scenario.

Given Carver's spiel in which he likens Clem to himself, such a scenario could be pertinent to the plot's current direction. Clem, upon seeing the zombified/dead Christa, could be presented with a choice: either leave Christa there or perform a burial, of sorts, in honor of her.

If Clem decides to leave Christa there, Clem would appear totally unfazed by Christa's state. Not even the demise of Christa can penetrate Clem's newly acquired shell of toughness. Clem will have become—at least outwardly—the embodiment of Carver's persona: a harden individual who confronts the apocalyptic world with unrelenting dispassion. She will, essentially, fulfill Carver's ideal of her by opting to not give Christa a burial.

If Clem does decide to honor Christa with a burial, she will be clearly devastated by Christa's state. Rather than being unfazed as in the previous option, Clem will be visibly moved—possibly even to tears—as she sees Christa's zombified/dead body. As she performs the precursory burial procedures (i.e. either killing Christa if she is a Zombie, or beautifying her if she is simply dead), Clem will come to represent the antithesis—to a degree—of Carver. Despite all that she has been through, she will retain at the very least an emblem of her humanity by burying Christa.

DLC is an especially viable option right now for TTG, particularly with all the loose ends that have yet to be tied-up this season (still hoping for TTG to address these "loose ends," though, by the end of the season).

  • i never liked christa for my own reasons but i would kill her why would you ever leave a totally vulnerable walker

  • She's alive. There's no way she's dead. Not after we lost Omid...

    And Pete...

    And Carlos and Alvin...

She CAN'T be dead! It'd be too much for my heart to take.

  • I shall shed a tear, and then come to these forums to state the reasons why I think that is such a waste of a potentially good character for this season.

  • PLEASE KEEP YOUR HANDS AND FEET INSIDE THE FEALS TRAIN AT ALL TIMES !!

  • I'm starting to think she might be determinant, but I hope she's alive no matter what. But if she's dead, then Kenny definetely can't die.

  • I just got an idea. What would you do?

ok, your in a museum. And your under attack by a group of strangers. A fire was started in the distance so its smokey and you cant see to well.

Clem is stay put against a wall holding her hand gun while her group (luke, Kenny, and nick[if alive] ) are on clems team, and there on a stand off against the strangers.

clems groups is clearly our numbers by the sound of guns going off on the other side. (about 6 people) on the bad peoples side.

clem sees luke put at abut 3 0-clock about 15 feet in front of her.

She then sees a figure come out of the smoke, its christa, holding a ak-47. Clem is happy and excited and that she's alive. But then she sees her pull her gun up and about to shoot luke, luke it currently shooting at someone else.

Clementine pulls up her gun and aims it at christa. Now, does clem shot christa(fatal), saving luke. Or does clem not shoot christa, leaving christa alive but christa ends up shooting and killing luke right in front of clem.

if you choose to shot christa, christa falls to the ground. chrisa is presumably dead, but her lifeless body has enough life in her to move her head. she looks towards clem, making eye to eye contact with clem, right before her head falls and dies.

If you don't shoot her, she kills luke. And the same thing happened with him. He dies right before looking right at you.

what do you do? I was bored so I just made that up...

  • I'd kill her, seems like the right thing to do when you see a walker friend. She will probably show up in EP5. (Not saying Season 3 because that's what TT did with Kenny, and Kenny disappeared in Ep5 not Ep1

  • O SHIT

    I... uh... but... oh...

I think I would shoot Christa. Shit.

  • Wow, couldn't she shoot her knee or something?
I guess it comes down to who you like more, even though that sounds shit, I'd shoot Christa in this situation though because she is on the bad side.

  • It would lack impact. Christa has had very little time to grow on the audience, there would be too much disconnect between the player and Clementine's reaction. Clementine would either grieve or be hardened and try to brush it off. If she grieves, the audience would rather move on then dwell on a character thats already a fading memory to them, if she brushes it off, its because Clementine is starting to shut down emotionally, but since the audience actually doesnt care about Christa, that feeling might be lost on them.

  • I would find that quite upsetting but at least we would know. I just want to know what happened to her.

  • I think she's had enough time. I certainly do care what happened to her, just like I was very upset by what happened to Omid.

  • I'd feel sad for Clem. I honestly didn't connect that well with Christa but I know she did. Plus, it would be nice for Kenny to see more familiar faces. Idk if this would happend but I hope Molly is with Christa, she was awesome.

  • Feels will happen

I get what you are saying, but I feel that this problem--Christa not having enough screen-time in this season thus far--will be solved by flashbacks scenes during Rebecca's labor.

  • Internet Memes aside, i don't like Christa. I found her to be annoying(the most appropriate word for this forum) , Everything she would say would make me mad, she would complain constantly. When Omid died, i was happy because i hated her. (i didn't like Omid either for joking about Lee cutting his arm off, so screw him too). Now if i found her walking as a Zombie i would end her, but not because i liked her. Getting frustration off is good for the soul.

  • Well, I can't really argue against you finding her annoying. That's just a subjective thing. I don't remember her complaining much, though. I remember her being a bit prickly when you first meet her, but you were just a bunch of random shit people to her. She wanted to size you up and make sure you were stable. She warmed up after a while. To be honest, I wasn't super into her as a character until Season 2. But after proving herself by taking care of Clem for so long even after everything that happened to her, she earned my respect.

You didn't like Omid? Really? I thought he was one of the few people who everybody liked. Meh. Kind of a weird reason not to like him though. I mean even Lee joked about Lee cutting his arm off. It's gallows humor, man. Zombie Apocalypse 101. When you're so fucked it doesn't even matter any more, crack a joke about how fucked you are.

  • I'd be saddened, but I'd put her down. No one deserves to remain like that.

  • Well..... "zombies make me shit bricks" sooooo that would be a bad day
