  • Over at your profile, you select your forum avatar under settings. The last section in the Avatar Categories should be for the website Gravatar, which allows you to upload a custom avatar to share across Telltale Games and other websites.

The Gravatar section at the profile will explain more, but you basically make an account for the Gravatar website using the same email account associated with your Telltale Games account. After that, you upload a picture to Gravatar to use for your custom Avatar.

  • I made one a put a pic but it is still not there

  • Once you uploaded the picture to Gravatar, did you select it as your avatar from the Avatar Selection menu here on this site?

Once you uploaded the picture on Gravatar, it should automatically be visible on the Avatar Selection menu on the last category to the right.

After you select the Gravatar category, click on your custom Gravatar that appears in the center left.

  • All I get is this nothing else

  • That is a generic Gravatar you should see if your image was not uploaded to Gravatar. Are you sure you uploaded the image to the Gravatar site correctly?

  • Yes because on the site it shows the pic I want

  • Hmm, that's odd. And you used the same email?

I find that sometimes, clicking on "Check this image" over at the Gravatar site that the Avatar page links to might help.

  • Yep I did it Alt text

  • Did you register on the gravatar website using capitalized letters in your email? If so, that's most likely the problem.

  • Hmm, interesting.

Obviously Gravatar is a third party website so we can't change that, but I'll see if I can't get the web team to give a heads up that this is the case over here.

  • Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the problem. I remember the same thing happening to me, my picture was shown over there but not here. Later I saw that my email over there was typed in differently(capitalized letter) so I decided to use another email address and it worked.

    I hope this helps.
