I never said anything about half-assing? The company is eventually going to grow they will be able to have different teams on different games.
That is a rather harsh future scenario, who posted it?
So what you're saying is they should milk and half-ass their big franchise and work harder on the other lesser ones? Looks exactly like what… more they've been doing.
Copypasting this from another thread.
"Poor Clementine being used as a money grab so they can finance all their other crappy games that won't sell near as much as TWD.'
-Summer 2015
"shit, borderlands sold less than Bigby and nobody bothered 'buying' GoT, how the hell am i going to afford that $19,900 green interior for my maybach?. BRECKON!, go to the whiteboard and start TWD's Season 3, we need a quick buck right now if we want to finish Breaking Bad, James Bond and Jurassic Park's Season 2. Make sure the episodes are 60-75 minutes long, i remember back in the day people ATE that with In Sheep's Clothing and Cry Wolf."
R.I.P Vanaman's legacy"
I just wish you worked on one realistic project and one unrealistic. Both Borderlands and GoT are unrealistic . I know zombies ain't realistic but, yano... more realistic than GoT with it's wizards and Borderlands with robots.
Yes, It's missing hubs, I know. But it doesn't deserve all these fuss. And personally, S1 Wasn't a masterpiece to me at all. Episode 1, 2 and 4 were masterpieces, But 3 and 5 weren't.
Thank you Mister Telltale man, so far everything I have played by TT has been above average...even Jurassic Park..almost. But there are license games and then there are Telltale license games, there is a vast difference in quality - the major winner being TT. I see that you at least respect the license.
However the drop in time is annoying and it feels like im not getting my moneys worth the way I would have done with monkey Island, and TWD s01 for instance, drop in length =/= drop in quality, however it dos equal higher annoyance and to some extent the feeling that the price of the game is wrong. Now being a European player we also tend to see a lot of delays.
Back to the Future and Wolf Among Us felt like passion projects, franchises they just wanted to be a part of. Game of thrones and Borderland… mores are bigger names, making it more likely the company is just going where the money goes.
That's some pretty weird reasoning... bigger licences mean we probably care about them less???
Telltale is a company made up of many unique individuals, and we're people just like any others, each one of us with a wide and diverse set of interests. Many of us loved Borderlands and Game of Thrones LONG before working on those licences was even a glimmer of a possibility.
Being genuinely invested in and caring about our licences is how we make games that stay true to those universes. Basically, I'm yet to see anything that ISN'T a passion project for Telltale... and that's part of what makes it a cool and exciting place to work.
s01 was a hard sledge hammer of feels and "investigative" gameplay straight to the face. Although s02 has the same "feels" I guess there is no hub area where we can really get to know the characters and even solve smaller puzzles like the first game.

So you are saying that hubs in TWD season 1 where fillers? Episodes getting shorter is the only thing I dislike about TTG nowdays, GoT and Borderlands are great projects I will definitely pay to see, Im a fan of GoT tv show sort of so I really would like to see what they can do with such a great and well crafted story. Also Borderlands could turn out really interesting, games didn't had much of a story but that can be good because TTG will have more free room with the story.
the second those jack-asses at ubi buys the company all of a sudden every telltale game will have towers one way or another that must be hacked, synched and climbed up on just to reveal the damned map, as if we don't have navigation and map software on our phones.
Nah the Future of TTG is this they will Release Game of Moans and TFTB and they would sell pretty well because of the name. In 2015 they wil… morel release a BS TWD Season 3 that is 45-60 minutes episodes. By 2016 TTGs CEO/President will sell the company to Ubisoft for a quick buck on the dying company.
I never said anything about half-assing? The company is eventually going to grow they will be able to have different teams on different games.
That is a rather harsh future scenario, who posted it?
That's the only thing that's missing. But the setting of the season doesn't really fit a hubs area until Episode 3. Hubs will be back strongly in Episode 4.

oh so your opinion is the word from the gods ROFL
If it's Oka cheese straight from quebec then yeah
It's called "Artistic Ingenuity". I can't believe I'm using that word!
If you want realistic, go outside. It's a fucking video game.
Sure, but also: consensus.
This thread is getting out of hand fast
Well no wonder you can't see what's wrong with season 2 when you couldn't even see what made season 1 a masterpiece back then.
Help me understand then. I'm very open to changing my mind.

Let's try to stay on topic.
Criticism is welcome, but please try to focus on the topic at hand.
i like you, your funny.
These episodes are perfect , telltale. Don't listen to these fools that want 140 mins of filler ;=D
Damn bro i didn't know you liked giving money away can i get some?
Eh im getting TFTB anyway.nice to see them do something new

It's his own quote.

To some extent there were one in the second episode but that ended very quickly though.
I posted it. Only a small number of people will get the maybach joke.
Eh TTG did make Clem climb that chairlift so they are almost there.
Maybe telltale wants to expand and grow? We don't know how bad or good the games will be.
Two if i recall correctly. One in 201 with that bloody-dog! xD And one in 203. There were both short, But the setting couldn't have a strong hub.

To a certain degree, they are.
This honestly it seems like people just want TWD over and over again
Rob I beg to differ.
Why i can't give my opinion ? Its not trolling and you are being very rude
Yo bro you are a professional troll ill give you credit.
@Its_That_Guy
Yeah the TTG forums is f*cked by people like you who can't accept anyone else opinion
I accept everyones opinion but that dude is an obvious troll and he is playing you fucktards.

"he is playing you fucktards"
"Don't blame Hitler! That was his opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinions!' -2014's society
