Youtube: Copyrighted Illegal content?
I did want to upload more seasons and parts of this game on my channel but I still have legal issues with youtube for uploading this:
Whenever I upload last part of season 1 I always get the following message:
"Alela Diane-Take us Back", recording owned by : 9:05
Believe Music
WMG
[Merlin] InertiaPtyLtd
[Merlin] Beggars
And then I am forced to remove the video unless I can show youtube I have permission for uploading the content. Telltale games should post a page where they give users rights to upload their game videos with all its original content. If not then telltale games really used music content which they where not allowed.

I think that you should just try to remove the Music.
I heard you can prevent that by become a Youtube partner
Gustav_Kenny@ So the audio really is illegal in the game?
Herodriver@ is'nt youtube partner a person who places adds from google youtube on his own website or blog?
I hope it is not to hard for telltalegames to post a page like this:
The problem isn't the gameplay, its the song. Telltale can't give you permission to have that song in your video. The artist/producer of the song holds the copyright, so you'd have to get permission from them. Personally I just don't record the song at all.
Telltalegame should post a link to the music maker.
This means youtube won. Secondly the song sucks, there are plenty of similar lyrics available on youtube as royalty free, the only thing the royalty free song makers require is that you mention their name.
Before I delete the telltalegames trash from my channel I do wish to get an answer from the staff on this. Can you give permission to upload the walking dead game videos on youtube?
Telltale could careless if you upload gameplay. The problem is the credits and the song along with it. The song is clearly owned by the Warner Music Group copyrighted by them, which means that you have to have written permission from the them to use it. It's not Telltale's fault you decided to upload the credits along with copyrighted material. Nothing they can do since they do not own the song.
It's because they don't play the whole thing
Yes,also on their video, which means you can also gain money from it.Besides,I've seen some GTA V gameplay video where the uploader turns on the radio music just fine.
telltale has said in the past though that you can upload videos of ther game but can't monotize that video in other words, you can't make that $$$ off their game unless you are part of a network i'm pretty sure. basic partnership from youtube doesn't cut it while a network partnership will let you. don't quote me on that though, that's basically how i understand it
Its not Telltale it is the owner of the song who is flagging your video, happens to all of us lets players from time to time. All you have to do , is edit the song out, stupid i know but this is the way it works now.
