The Episode Four Choice
Remember by the end of Episode Four when Telltale incorportated a result system in which only certain type of people would go with you to look for Clementine and how different people had different results of all the different combinations of members from the group in Season One who would help you look for her in Episode Five.
Well what if Telltale incoporates this but this time it's who survives by the end of the episode, and depending on your decisions depends on who survived with you by the end of the episode? Perhaps Episode Four will be pure survival and decision-making if you did amazingly well the group marches off to Wellington happy that everyone survived. However perhaps only some will survive, perhaps there's an option where only Clementine can survive, or perhaps only Clementine and one other member of the group.
What do you guys think, would you like to see a "Who survived with you?" screen at the end of Episode Four? I would certainly find it interesting.

I definitely would. That was probably the best consequence-based variable in season one and encourages replayability. I've been trying to keep everyone alive, so I would try to get everyone. I've actually thought about this before.
I give this idea my seal of approval.
Yeah, I'd love it! Even though I don't want to end up with me taking care of Sarah...
Well I've sat with Kenny, said I would like to stay at the lodge (which made Ken happy), agreed with him always, tried to save him. So he should come with me if that's a choice, I also suspect Nick will too, people like Sarita will probably come no matter what but we don't even know if this will be a choice yet so lets wait and see.
I love this idea!
If it was perfectly implemented, I think I'd like it even more than the Around the Corner outcomes.
This is a great idea!
I just had another one. Picture this:
It's the end of Episode 4. A herd/several large clumps of walkers are closing in on the group. While fighting them off, they each split off into separate little groups. Kenny, Rebecca(or her baby if she gives birth and doesn't make it) and Bonnie are in one group. Mike and Nick(determinant) are in another. Jane and Luke. Finally, Clem can choose to just run away on her own; if this is chosen, one of the groups (random) tries to follow Clem, and are killed by walkers.
NOTE: Sarah has not yet been found. And for now, let me just say that Sarita didn't make it. The baby will live no matter what. If Clem goes off on her own, Kenny has another 'unknown' fate if his group is chosen because he runs away with the baby.
Whew
What do you think? Good? Not good?
That would be amazing. Id definitely pick Kenny, Rebecca and Bonnie though.
Yeah, I mean it is a tough decision. I sort of scrapped the groups together. Another thing I forgot to mention is that other than the group you choose, all the other groups will have unknown fates up until they're reintroduced. Then it will be revealed who died and who lived.
It will be simply amazing if they do that and with an option to save Nick, it would be perfect.
That sounds like a great idea! But I feel that it'd be better if we let the player form their own group or at least try. Maybe it could be that every character is currently in trouble or having trouble finishing off the walker attacking them and you only have time to save perhaps three people? However the catch is when you save one person another dies.
So for example, you save Kenny, Luke dies and vice versa.
You save Rebecca, Bonnie dies and vice versa.
You save Sarah, Jane dies and vice versa.
You save Nick, Mike dies and vice versa.
You save Sarita, the baby dies and vice versa.
That'd be too heart-wrenching for me...
I would cry too hard...
;__;
I've been wondering the same thing, they're bound to do something big with episode 4 if they hope to live up to the season 1 finale. I really hope it happens, how cool would it be to have Nick make it through the rest of the game if he survives episode 2?!
I honestly think that how you treat characters should mostly determine who comes with you to ep 5.
Supported Kenny a lot? He comes with you
Saved Nick in Ep 2 and gave him Pete's watch? He comes with you
Nice to Sarah and accepted her pinkie-swear? She comes with you
That's a nice idea but that can't happen not now. It's been made clear that family is a prominently important in the Walking Dead, especially this season of the video game. If the group were to not "go with Clementine" where would they go? Splitting off the group would be a bad idea for everyone. Even Rebecca remarks that none of the survivors in the group would "make it" if they were on their own so for everyone just to split up seems out of character for them all.
Damn I hope that this doesn't happen but at the same time I hope it does.
I don't mean to just send off anyone else to fuck-all. I meant something more along the lines of they either stay at another camp or the rest of the people stay on their own. There could also be something else that determines who else comes with you to be more accurate to the characters.
I.E. If Nick lives and you were shit to Luke, Nick will want to come with you and then since Luke and Nick are good friends either Nick changes his mind to stay with Luke or Luke changes his mind to come along with Nick.
Oh, I see sorry I thought you meant the group would split up at 'Parkers Run' or something. Still I'm not sure why they wouldn't stay at the camp all-together but this would certainly be interesting to see who would want to come with you.
Clem, Kenny, Bonnie, and Mike. Everyone else is dead.
Damn, so a "survivalist" focused group? Interesting.
This thread is Skylar Approved.
The cabin group is done. If this choice does come in to play, i'd want it like this. I also dream of a Clem and Kenny team.
And the person that runs off after you is dependent on who you got real close to!
Could even be a thing where, Luke, Kenny and Mike all have different opinions on how to do something, and we have our own choice of siding with one of the guys or taking our own approach.
And then, your situation happens and depending on what happened in ^^^^^ scene, your group is formed.

YESSSSSS
After all, Telltale, if our choices do matter, please do the group configuration thing!
I hope you're listening, staff!
Aw thx
I don't think I'm that good a writer though.
This would be a great rebuttal to those who feel Clementine's decisions haven't factored into the relationships established with the supporting cast.
some of yall complained about clem picking up a sledge and takin a walker with it but yall expect all these harsh decisions on a lil girl??? also complained more of how the group depends too much on clem but want al these ultimate decisions to fall on the lil girl???.......
but fuck it put it in!!;D
You're good, because if you go with it, Kenny and Luke survive, and that lets me sleep at night!
I like this idea...
Specially because we have have some determinant characters (Nick and Sarita), and we'll for sure get some more determinants on Episode 4
We all would.
I need to try and make sure I save EVERYBODY. Just so Clem will stop thinking people die because of her. She needs to see that she's the savior of the group. Just like Lee.
