Well, since I beat Watch Dogs a few days ago. It had quite a few amazing tracks in a few song genres in the game. Truly brings out what Chicago's all about, at least with the jazzy mood it brings.
Good question, Dragon! It took me quite a few attempts to figure this one out too.
When you've got the link copied there are two options … moreto put into the reply box: the first is pasting the link; the second is typing out a title, or any words, that you want to relate to the video, such as the Fez ones I did above and the GTA one I will do at the end of this, to make sure that what I'm telling you is correct.
Once you have your pasted link or words, highlight them, and click on the 'Link' button at the top of the reply box, the one that looks like the world. A box should come up - I doubt that it's particularly browser specific - telling you to pop the URL into it.
After hitting Ok your link or title in the reply box should have [these] around it, followed by the URL in brackets.
Presuming that there's a video below, all of the above is correct hope it helps.
No Happy Endings
The length is fine, I like something to get stuck into.
David Hayter does seem to bring a certain personality to Snake, from what I've played, and though I don't mind Kiefer Sutherland, there was a review somewhere which, I think, also mentioned Snake sounding bored. I'm trying to remember what he sounded like in Call of Duty: World at War, however it hasn't stuck in my mind much. I'm going to hope that he was a little out of voice-acting shape with this game and things will improve for the next one. Quick question: why was Hayter not given the job?
Splinter Cell was the first proper stealth game I played, dating back to the Playstation 2. I still recall the training level, actually. Anyway, that's irrelevant. My point here is that the camera angle and controls I prefer, probably because they were the ones I first got used to for the genre. The first three games, and probably the fourth too, were far less action affairs than Conviction - game number five - was, and I think the latest - Blacklist - tried to recapture some of those earlier games, so I imagine for this MGS they wanted to give people who are more used to that sort of camera and controls an easier time. Obviously this runs the risk of ousting one of the things that made the game unique.
From the videos I've seen the graphics do look pretty great.
Heard about the length. There are extra missions and collectibles, as I understand, though that doesn't entirely make up for the lack of main mission length. It wasn't sold for as much as most other games, though.
As for story, how can you have much of one in such a short main mission? Your's is a very fair point, as without the sort story telling that makes MGS games MGS games, what's the point?
Perhaps they decided not to bother with a soundtrack seeing as it's so short.
You don't say :P
Sorry for my wall of text there. To summarise, I think you've made fair points that all show it isn't a fully-fledged MGS title. 'So why release it' seems like a valid question to ask. I'm still going to try and go to it with an open-mind though.
Well my opinion on Phantom Pain is a VERY negative one: sorry about the length
Ok let me start:
First off they replaced the iconic voi… morece actor for Naked/Solid Snake. the Original VA was an awesome dude named David Hayter (which you've now heard him in MGS 3) but then he got replaced with Keifer Sutherland. if you don't know who he is he is a very mediocre actor for this very bland show called 24 and he sucked the awesomeness of naked snake all out when he decided to be the VA. He sounds INCREDIBLY bland and bored where he made ME bored which isn't a good thing lol.
Second there's the gameplay. Now it's incredibly easy and pretty much a copy and paste of Splinter Cell. The AI was kinda improved but that's not a surprise lol.
Third there's the graphics. If there's one thing this game got right it was the visuals. They look AMAZING! EVEN on last gen consoles.
Fourth there's the length. This game is so DAMN SHORT! I AM NOT SHITTING… [view original content]
Splinter Cell is a good game it's just a different type of stealth game compared to MGS
The side missions are kinda boring but those do add to playtime.
And finally to answer your question Hayter did not get the job because the creator said he wanted to seperate Naked Snake from Solid Snake which is a fair point but he should of got a better VA..
EDIT: Well that's all for tonight because it's 5:00 am where I'm at and I'm tired XD

Mmm, jazz. Haven't heard Move On Up for far too long.
I don't think I'd like Fallout 3 or L.A. Noire quite as much if it wasn't for the inclusion of the radios that played jazz. Don't get me wrong, I'd still really like them, I just find that it adds so much atmosphere.

And hell yes, If you're going to make a game that takes place in Chicago, it must have a minimum of 1 Chicago song in there, otherwise it won't stay true to the Chicago atmosphere, fact.

Loving Chicago in Watch Dogs.
Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid do have different vibes to them.
That is a fair point, though Naked Snake is voiced by Hayter in Metal… more Gear Solid 3 at least, if not Peace Walker too, so it doesn't quite seem fair.
You on Pacific Time? I admire your dedication to the discussion of MGS ;P
Aw yeah, jazz is like the poetry of music.

It does get confusing. I'm a few hours different to Pacific Time, which is also the time stamp on the forum posts, so I keep having to figure out exactly when something when said relative to where I am haha

It's cool, bro, I'm not of a deal of use when it comes to unknown names either. I don't know much about T-Bone Walker, other than that he was a jazz guitarist and had a connection to Chicago, so I will just route around online a bit more.
Yeah I hate when somebody says I'll be on at 2 Eastern time or some shit
Then I'm like well I'm too damn lazy to figure out what time that is for me so I think I'll just sit here and wait. XD

Thanks, buddy! Easy enough! I just gotta remember how to do it whenever I need to post a video!

Yeah I live by Paciific Time.
I hate all the different time zones
Say, do you know if the name T-Bone is a reference to the guitarist T-Bone Walker? Or is it something else I haven't found yet?

You're gonna have to ask someone else that, as I'm not too good with names that aren't common to me, sorry man.

Hahaha XD that image of not figuring it out and then just sitting and waiting is strangely amusing
lol yeah that's pretty much me
I like that, though you may want to get the blue fur checked out :P
