Next Big Bad
Now that Bill Carver is dead, who do you will be the next big bad, besides the walkers being a threat. I kind of was surprised he didn't last very long and I am wondering who will be their big threat.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Maybe Jane? In the E4 preview she said "They're all gonna die, Clementine. Don't let them bring you down with them", so what if she ends up turning against the group and she tries to kidnap Clem?
Tavia/ Carver's henchmen might want revenge as Carver had ensured their safety from walkers and made sure they were looked after in terms of food/rations, regardless of his methods. Remember Bonnie's respect and admiration for him before Reggie's death? Also, the people in his group would be quite angry over the fact that Clem's group brought walkers to destroy their safe haven. I could imagine those remaining of Carver's group posing a threat in the next episode at least.

I don't think Nate will be a big bad but he might be a minor enemy for one episode if he returns.
Maybe... Clementine herself.
Or I don't know.
Tavia and the rest of carver's camp there is no way we won't be seeing them again surely they wouldn't just waste all those characters who are still alive at carver's camp and I don't see them just going oh bill is dead lets just go and help those prisoners that just escaped and ruined our camp they will most likely want revenge

I could see Jane abandoning the group when their in danger when she could have helped but I cant see her kidnapping Clem. She'll probably try to convince Clem to go with her though.
you know what it think there going to do? I think they are going to get someone that WE know is players and trust, but someone clementine group doesn't know and doesn't trust and put them against them.
I think they might get Vince to do it. I mean with the long hair and slight facial hair, and WE know him, I think they might make him the bad guy.
But what if Jane abandoned you?
I don think jane is going to do that. I think jane sees clem as a younger self (younger jane) and jane wants clem to live so she can live and that jane will teach clem new survival things and be like a mentor to clem.
but if jane were to leave clem (I highly doubt it) It would have to be for a good reason.
Yeah Jane could definitely teach Clem some survival skills. I suppose im just scared of her because of what she did to Troy. Not that he didn't deserve it but still.... that scene made me wince.
The group itself could be dangerous, when Kenny probably loses Sarita, and Sarah lost Carlos, looks like Luke has disappeared, again... People are slowly going nuts.
I have two ideas-
1.(Most likely)-Tavia-Her and the remaining members of Carver's community go after Clem and her group (glad I made sure no one went with Tavia in 400 Days, except Bonnie of course).
2.(Long shot)-Nate-I think if Carver=Governer then Nate=Negan. Especially if Eddie has a group which we join maybe Nate remembers about his friend and goes to kill Eddie?

Wow, was quite surprised and honored to see people respond to my thread, it means a lot to me.
Anyway I have been thinking about who might be Clementine's biggest threat and I keep fearing that someone in Clementine's group is going to be a traitor or has been one all of long. I don't know but usually in post-apocalyptic situations, you sometimes get stabbed in the back by someone you trust.
I also keep wondering Luke seems to disappear when there is a crisis. Is it possible he could be the one who betrays them? I also even wonder if Tavia's group survived the walker attack, there wasn't very many of them and so many Walkers. I know they had weapons but still..
I have another fear and I worry because what happened to Kenny might have a huge effect on him? Maybe he suffers brain damage and snaps, turning on the group in the process? I don't know it seems like there are many possibilities.
If that were to happen I would regret convincing everyone to go with Tavia.

Joking aside, I don't really think there might be any specific villain apart from unknown groups or Tavia and the rest of Carver's Community, but there may be fallout in the group itself and the group may end up being divided, which could possibly be the Pizza or Ice Cream choice they hinted

I don't know but apparently the group they come across in episode 4 is run by a guy called Steve who is a psychopath.

Why does there have to be a 'big bad' at all?
Can't the game just be about survival?
Well, each person has their own perspective, you might think one character is a villain while other characters think of that villain as a hero/heroine.
Well sure, but I'm more asking about why we need an overarching villain, whether or not she or he is controversial, in the first place.
Like, Season 1 episodes 1 and 2, as well as the vast majority of episode 3 save the very end, worked perfectly fine without any overarching villain at all, just circumstantial ones like the St Johns, Kenny and Lilly.
This desire for an overall villain who dogs us seems to be an attempt to oversimplify the game and to make everything more black and white. Why can't the villain just be the apocalypse?
