I think in season 3, it will just be Clementine and Rebecca's baby as the only two who survived Season 2. Clementine will be in her 20s and the baby will be around Season 1 Clem's age. Then at the end of that season, Clementine will die and pass the torch onto the baby.

I am assuming there will be a season 3 here but if you think about it, was Lee really the main character in season 1? Or was it about Clem turning into a little girl to a survivor?
I think the latter and this season is her becoming someone to be feared, I mean I wouldn't want to get on her bad side lol.

Clem will only die if Melissa is threw playing as her. I doubt Melissa will stop playing as Clem, so no Clem won't die, she'll just be injured or something.
If she does die then she'll go out like Cole Phelps from LA Noire. Cole is a detective hero who died protecting the streets of LA 1947. Clem will die saving Sarah who will be the next main character for season 3 probably.
