I'm leaving the forums, for obvious reasons. I need to collect my thoughts, and after some of the more disturbing and homophobic implications, intended or not, of the Kenny thread, I've decided not to return for a good while and to just hope that society's progress makes it here too.

I've liked some of you, I've disliked some of you. But know that, regardless of this, I respect all of you.
No-one here actually knew this, but I figure I might as well tell you now. I suffer from pretty bad depression since I used to get bullied about being gay at school, and that's partly responsible for my overall negativity on the forums. For that, I apologise. Recently it's been getting much better, though, so hopefully I haven't been too much trouble 
slowly and steadily.
Lastly because I'm in an angry 'listen to music to drown out bad thoughts mode', I'm posting music which really speaks to me right now. Listen or don't.

I'm closing this as it's way too volatile of a thread, and the negative comments definitely don't help the situation any. I'm glad that people are offering to talk to you in PMs, that's way more helpful than a thread could ever be. I know how tough severe depression can be, and from personal experience that even online comments can make it worse. Take care of yourself, take all the time you need away from these forums. Your health and well being is way more important than an online message forum could ever be.
