Why I like Season 2 better than Season 1
I can see why some of you like Season 1 better than Season 2. However, while I respect your opinion, here are my reasons for liking the second season more than the first. First off, the environments and locations. In Season 1, there were some great environments, but they seemed to bleak at times. Nothing wrong with that, it's. The Walking Dead! But, think about the amazing spectacles in Season 2. The rivers, the mountains, the snow, the Ski Lodge, Howes, The Cabin, etc. In a way, it gives you a feeling of such helplessness. It's Clementine against the world. My second reason, Clementine. I loved Lee more than you can imagine, but Clementine as the protagonist is even better. I feel so sad for her, but at the same time I'm rooting for her. The only thing I don't like about Clem is that she has more balls than I do.......... Third, the scene with Kenny. When I saw Kenny as screamed at the top of my lungs like a little girl. Everything had been so crazy with Carver and all that seeing someone I know I can trust from Season 1, Kenny, was the best thing that's ever happened in this game. My fourth reason, Carver. He puts Governor and Negan to shame. Although he didn't survive very long, he was terrifying. Thanks to great Voice Work from Michael Madsen and a sense of mystery around him, he's unpredictable. I know a lot of you complain that we didn't get an explanation of what happened with the. Cabin. Group, but that's realistic. It made Carver even scarier. Your not completely sire what he's capable of... My fifth, and final reason, the music. The music from Season 1 is equally as good, however tracks like the episode 4 ambient and Carver give me chills. Great job Jared Emmerson Johnson!!! So, I know a lot of you will disagree and I'm fine with that, but this is my opinion. Post your thoughts below and remember don't talk to strangers!

Y'know, it's just my opinion, no need to dislike.
It's the internet, people will do that![:/ :/](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
Yeah. Wha season do you like better.
I do like season 1 better but I agree that season 2 has cooler scenery and Carver was a really mysterious bad guy, better than the stranger.
Tbh...it's hard to say for me. Both are completely well written in my eyes...
I agree, the art style in Season 2 compared to Season 1 has improved a ton.
season 2 for me i miss hubs though
I'm gonna wait till episode 5 is out to answer that
Both games are great. Each has pros and cons but still enjoyable.![:3 :3](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/blush.png)
I love season 2. But I feel it lacks in some areas season 1 was good in.

As other people say, I have to wait till episode 5 to determine.
I like season 2. I really do. I like season 1 more in general, and I do agree with some of the flak season 2 gets, but I'm just hoping they can take some cues from what season 1 did right and wrong and what season 2 did right and wrong and make season 3 the best thing ever.
I completely understand your point of view!
In my opnion Season 1 is still higher than Season 2. despite Season 2 being technically better in many aspects. the fact that the episodes have been shorter still bothers me, and this makes the events of the game a bit rushed compared to the first. but despite that, the game still amazing as always!
I personally thought the Stranger from the first season was a better villain because you identified with him a little more than Carver. With the Stranger, you hated him and sympathized with him at the same time. You wanted to punt off his head, but you also kinda felt sorry for him. I love this villain because you saw what drove him to become like this. While I will agree that Carver is terrifiying, I do think he's kinda underdeveloped. But that's just my personal opinion.
Oh yeah!
I'm fine with your opinion. I wouldn't trash it and just yell at you for not having the same opinion as me.
Honestly, Season 2 really is turning out as rather mediocre compared to Season 1. But I will still play it of course.
nah
We're still in the mid of the Season, but if things keep up being as intense as they have been, and if Clementine and Kenny keep shining, I'd say that Season 2 can beat 1.
On a technical point of view, Season 2 needs more content, more lenght; hubs and more dialogue would help on that. And I hope that Telltale gives us more than one ending or at least some variation.
I made a thread about the art style a bit ago comparing the two and TWAU. But for some reason I like Season 1's art style more. It might just be for nostalgic reasons too, but sometimes S2 has a bit too much going on for me. That could also be blamed on my sad little laptop though.
Yeah the Stranger was my favorite villain too. While Carver had the classic brute force bad guy routine (Which I like), I loved the Stranger because we were building him up to be this horrible monster of a man in our minds. Then we got to him, and he was just a complete simpleton. Somebody just like us.
I agree. I just think that the art style is smoother compared to Season 1.
