Wild theory - Could Jane be Lilly?
Ever since I first saw Jane, I sensed a rather vivid Lilly-ish aura about her. And just before it is brought up, some could argue that she looks younger than Lilly, which is quite understandable, since she does, but it could just be the new model making it appear so. She also has a different voice actress, but in her monotone she does have a spark of Lilly... Right? Well, just to get that out there. In the end this IS just wishful thinking, I suppose.
Now, think about it, how Jane was apparently was found outside covered in dirt and such. No matter how things end up with Lilly in Season 1, she seems to reach a relatively fitting conclusion. As implied by Kenny, she would not get very far with the RV, which would leave her just as defenseless as she would be if you just left her behind. In any case, she is on her own in the wilderness for years, during which the events of the rest of the Season 1 plus what has happened up until now took place. Survival happens. She cuts her hair short, covers herself in guts, lives.
"Jane" came into existence. Some would now wonder why did she take on an alias when she was found by Carver's men. You and me both. But is it not peculiar - Her name is actually never really mentioned by the characters, only in "they will remember that" notes (correct me on that if I am wrong, I might have forgotten a crucial instance). This could mean that Troy knew her real name. Maybe, just maybe, this motivated her to use Troy as bait rather than have him join their escape, as her identity being revealed could create unnecessary drama.
Also, "They're all going to die, Clementine. Don't let them pull you down with them.". While it can be assumed that she caught Clementine's name upon earlier eavesdropping, she does quite quickly grow comfortable with talking to Clementine on first name basis. Could it be that she already knew Clementine's name?
Speaking of names again... The name "Jane" could actually come from the female version of "John Doe" - "Jane Doe", a famous placeholder name for an individual whose true identity is unknown or classified. Telltale has left clever little hints like that in the past, so it would make sense, right?
Wishful thinking, I know. But let us consider that it ACTUALLY WAS what happened. Would it not open even more promising new potential for her character?
[EDIT] It appears that I overestimated the intelligence of the forum community once again, the title alone causing people to lose themselves to derisive nature, my actual points of analysis disregarded and ignored. Oh well. Well it IS a wild theory after all.

Wha.... I didn't even bother reading...
... There is no way in hell that Jane is Lilly! Unless Lilly found a guy who still does plastic surgery in the ZA then I will believe it.
LOL um. If Jane does happen to be somebody else, it'll most likely be Molly.
their ears and mouths are completely different, also they have different hair colors
And Alvin is Omid!
OF COURSE !!!!!!! AND REBECCA IS CHRISTA TOO !! Damn... how didn't we saw this... ?!
You're right...
That is a wild theory.
Damn.. Does that mean that Pete is Lee? and... Nick is.. Ben?
OMFG... so does this mean that the saltlick IS the crowbar?
YES! And Maybelle is Tavia! I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG!!!
Telltale's models have improved in quality a bit since Season 1. Playing along with the crazy idea that Jane actually is Lilly, she would most likely have her looks improved upon without wandering off too far. Lips differ, indeed. A bit too of a hasty judgement on the ears, though... That said, their eyebrows and eyes in general are quite the match though, are they not?
On the subject of the hair, I always had a mental image of Jane's hair being quite dirty, messing up the perception of her hair to some degree.
I know you're getting some flak for your theory, but I don't understand why. I mean, you theory is as good as anyone else's. Who knows what's going to happen in future episodes.
I have heard wilder theory's.
Anyway, there are those in this community that wouldn't accept Kennys return, said they were living in cloud cuckoo land etc. And we all know how that turned out. So, if you turn out to be correct you will have the last laugh.
I mean putting aside the fact that Jane's face and body are clearly very different from Lilly's... Why wouldn't they at least get Nikki Rapp to return to voice act, then?
This really just makes no sense, honestly.
AHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA..... Oh wait you're serious. Let me laugh even harder!
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHH
I'm not going to bother disliking, but what the fuck? I've made up some crazy theories myself, but wha- i'm just so confused.
Are you cereal?
Why am I still laughing of that comment ? xD
No silly.Rebecca is actually Maybelle because they're both pregnant cows.
I know, right? Ultimately I have little faith in Telltale representatives actually writing any decent twists at this point, but I did not expect that the subject would blow out of proportion THIS violently. Unlike Telltale's recent writing, it appears that the forums are full of surprises.
That's not nice ! :SS
There is absolutely no way that she is Lily. Their voices and bodies are completely different.
I am having difficulty comprehending the comedic value of exaggerating my argument's shock value to such derogatory lows. Even worse the amount of people supporting it. Is it really that violent of a concept even after considering the points I brought to light?

Why? I think everyone's in the right for bashing your theory. Quite frankly, it's absurd.
Igmore this comment
I'm pretty sure Kenny or Clementine would recognize Lily.
I don't think it's THAT crazy. It's TWDG anything could happen. That "Jane is Lilly" theory could happen.
Yes, because Lilly can magically transform her voice, age and eye color in 2 years.
Same eye color. But, if this theory were plausible it would be because Nikki Rap was voicing Jane.
Lilly's eyes are green Jane's are brown.
Forget, just a stupid crap that no one cares a fuck about.
