The Upcoming **** or ***** decision

the dots are obviously luke and kenny
well, considering the last two episodes made it quite clear were building towards this "oh look kenny and luke are in danger and i can only save one of them! hmm, who do i like more...." in episode 5 probably, now how exactly will it be done? as we know telltale they'll twist it somehow, hopefully, so it can be

  1. straight forward, guy we choose lives, guy we don't dies
  2. they both live, aka omid or christa
  3. one of them dies anyway and the other lives anyway aka duck or shawn
  4. they both die anyway, oh god please no
  5. Iinverted! my favourite, who ever you save dies, who ever you don't save manages to save himself

say, it's the end of episode 5, snowy-wintery-cold something, the remains of the group, consisting of clem, luke, kenny, and some of the other characters, plus a new character or two, are wallking through wellington, which surprise surprise...was eaten by zombies, they bump into a horde, theres a tense fight but everyone uppears to be not-hurt, then you see luke and kenny both struggling with a wallker, and losing, you only have bullet, you choose to save luke, you aim...and luke manages to overpower to wallker and throw him off, putting his head where the wallker's head just was, and he gets shot in the forhead by clementine, meanwhile you see kenny managed to overpower the wallker on him as well no bite and no nothing, and he and the others stare at luke in horror, or the same with opposite names episode end(or something like that) that will be quite sadistic, your choices do matter, see?

soo, whats your opinions on the matter?

  • If this happens they'll both end up dead anyway

  • That's tough to think about IMO.

  • Luke's plan failed and cost Kenny an eye.

  • This is a feasibly heartstopping predicament. Clementine's been caught in the middle between both characters over the last two episodes.

I think I'd personally save Kenny based on the turn of events thus far.

Which is that I feel like I know less about Luke and, even if he's prone to cattiness and hot flashes of temper, I value Kenny's history with Clem a little more at this point. That could change, mind you. Telltale might pull something revelatory out of the bag to make this decision even more stressful.

If the 5 happens, Kenny and Luke fans will flip their shit.

I don't think they'll make us choose between Kenny and Luke, at least not in episode 4, cause let's be honest - Luke can't compete with Kenny, seeing how we don't know much about Luke, and Kenny lost his damn eye for Clem

  • But Kenny agreed to going along with the plan, as did everyone else, didn't he?

  • I dunno, Kenny is my favourite character but in all honesty, he is a bastard. Luke however, his personality isn't as good but he's nice. Kenny is funny as hell but he's meh... bad. Luke seems like the right guy to look after Clem. But yeah, Kenny is still my fave.

  • We should never think that such a thing will happen. Ever.

  • There are really only three different outcomes, with 1 and 5 leading inevitably to 4. (Telltale won't write season three in two completely different ways, one way with Luke and the other with Kenny.) That said, I agree with you that 5 would be a really sadistic outcome. I also agree with some of the other commenters that it's still not much of a choice at this point. Most people would choose Kenny. Telltale MIGHT be able to make Luke a worthy alternative in the next two episodes, but considering how short the episodes are....who knows? I'm thinking we might not have to make the choice between Luke and Kenny for quite some time, if ever.

I would really hate it if we were to choose between them in a 'who will you save?' way. No matter who you choose, they would both ultimately become determinant characters and eventually die. So let's hope for something less drastic than that.

    I'm going with Kenny.
We were pals in season 1, and we're pals now.
I refuse to abandon my friend.

  • Im minority here but i WANT them to die, not cause of i hate them or anything but i want my misery porn.

Im not down with Kenny or Luke, too obvious but something shocking, like remember that Lee getting bit right the fuck out of nowhere. Its super effective emotional scene. *** or *** scenarios are just predictable cause of determination.

    IMO

  • lets be serious, its telltale, they will make the hardest choices possible, and if not there will be a black and white choice on who Clem likes more

  • I've known Kenny too long, I just met Luke. I'm going Kenny.

  • The only way I can see myself choosing Luke over Kenny in all honesty if it becomes more clear that Kenny's becoming more "Governor-like" in the sense of getting ruthless and...as Carlos would say..."becoming a danger to the group."

  • I feel like I would go with Luke but the thought of disappointing Kenny like that kills me. ;_; We all saw how he reacted if you chose to sit with Luke at dinner in episode two. I can't even imagine what his face would look like if you chose to follow Luke.

I just don't want to choose. I love them both.

Kenny's plan sort of failed, Carlos died, Sarah ran away, and Sarita got bit. Who knows what happened to someone else.

OR, or, hear me out.. it's Kenny VS Christa. BAHM BAHM BAAAAAAAAAAAHM.

  • You are right haha both plans didn't work out as expected.

I feel like if someone will save someone, it'd be Luke saving Kenny (in episode four). I have a feeling they're trying to eliminate any reason for people to dislike Luke in order to make it a pretty difficult choice if it is to come to it, possibly in episode five. I'm just saying theoretically, I doubt this exact thing would happen, though i'd like it to happen.

  • His plan was to go through the walkers, and shoot there way out.

Luke's was to get a radio, and wait for an opening.

They mushed the plans together and BOOM. Both really bad plans gets people killed, bitten, and lost.

  • I like the idea of whoever you try to save dies but I think there's a lot of people who wouldn't. The hardcore Kenny fans would obviously go to save Kenny and then he'd die and it would just piss them off.

  • Yeah, Escaping from Carver could have gone a lot smoother.

  • Hey. I was very readily going to take blame on behalf of them both and get my Clemmy ass beat as part of character development.

But no. Kenny himself was the one who was written so cheesily as to railroad himself into losing his eye. It ain't anyone's fault but his own, sorry to say.
