Carley. She seemed like a potentially three dimensional character, had an interesting dynamic with Lee from the get-go, and seemed twice mor… moree tough and readily useful than Doug in the game of survival. In my own personal WD canon, Carley survives the premiere episode. Nothing personal to Doug -- he's thoroughly decent -- but Carley made the bigger impression.
1)Doug memorising tv codes allowed you to distract all the walkers in the near vicinity long enough to get the keys.
2) He saved Carley's life before you meet up with the group.
3) He knows how to put batteries into a radio.
Doug.
Sure, Carley fans got a romance subplot, leadership encouragement, and the ability to tell people about your past, but Doug fans got Doug.
Doug is love, Doug is life, Doug is law, Doug is God.
Honestly, I really don't know how Doug was in risk of death. YOU COULD JUST MOVE FORWARD. It's not that damn hard, that's why I saved Carley, even though it's not that hard to move your foot from a walkers hand and smash it's head in with your foot, but hey.
I chose Carley because she knew how to shoot well, and I thought that would come in handy more. Plus we spent more time with her opposed to Doug, and I felt she was more interesting as a character since she knew about Lee's past. I did like Doug for the short time we knew him though.
True. Doug had a lot of potential to be an interesting character and could have provided more innovative ways to survive the zombie apocalypse. I loved his zombie alarm idea and how he used the laser to distract Andy while Andy had Duck at gunpoint. it was a nice change to have someone other than Katjaa that didnt like guns so much. his reluctance to pick up the gun and shoot the bandit offered great character development as well.
i guess telltale liked the idea of a budding romance better, and not many people are a fan of sandles and socks. myself included.
Doug was a gentle sort and as the episodes progress in season one and the future becomes more bleak, Doug's disposition is somewhat of a qui… moreet relief. The contrast between his eventual death and Carley's at the hands of Lilly is equally striking in different ways.

DOUBLE POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carley, pretty much because she was a fucking good shot and because I wanted to see if anything came of a relationship with Lee.
I'd rather pick someone who can handle a gun rather than batteries...
Someone who doesn't know how to properly put batteries into a radio is either dumb or lacking in common sense...
Carley,she has a gun.
Probably none of my business but why's your name K-K-Kenny?
I just wanted to see what the majority thought.
Probably has a moustache and is a member of the KKK lol
why such an old question?
Why not? Something to talk about during the wait for the next episodes.
TEAM DOUG!!
Chet?

The plot demands it!
can't think of any good name lol
carley because she wasn't wearing socks and sandals
Stay the saltlicks. I just made a mistake.
Well you look like a Lilly fan XD
Does anybody remember that whenever Kenny was about to drop the saltlick he made this war cry...?

Lol, your first post has 3 likes and this one has 3 dislikes. This is awesome.
either one of them will be the reason of lee's death
What is wrong with wearing Socks and Sandals? I do it all the time.
Doug because he had a bigger...chest area...
