Killing one in order to save many.

edited June 2014 in The Walking Dead

THIS HAS SPOILERS!

When Carver said to Clementine that killing one to save many is necessary, how a string of screw-ups put everyone at danger, it hit me. In E4 what if we have to kill Sarah? What Clementine heard from Carver might come into play around here as she remembers what he said.

Edit: Goddamnit I saw it before it was spoiler tagged. I hope to the almighty fucking heavens that it's fake

We're not supposed to discuss Episode 4 content, pal. At all.

You better get rid of that last sentence or Blind Sniper or some other mod will snipe this thread.

  • Fuck, I meant to put a "not" in there. Good catch, man, fixing it now.

  • I'll use the same policy with her as I did with Ben. I'll give someone hell for being a useless idiot who gets people killed, but I won't kill anybody for that. I will, however, reserve the right to distance myself from that person if they show no signs of improving.

  • What do you hope is fake?

  • Well he/she originally showed a spoiler from episode 4 that was found in the game files and i was like the first one to see the thread when there wasn't a spoiler tag on

Who's to say what will happen.
I know this, I will not abandon my pal Kenny, nor anyone else of the group.
That might be how Jane does things, just judging by her comment in the trailer for episode 4: "They're all gonna die, don't let them drag you down with them," but that's not how I do things.
I'm staying with them to the bitter end!

  • Wait, really? We can't predict what might happen in episode 4? That sucks.

  • She won't, here's why:

Carver was half right - he was right about sometimes having to get rid of threats, but he was wrong about murdering someone in cold blood for not picking up berries.

  • Ah I see.

  • It might be a very effective thing to do, but as a choice. Like how the season seems to going down route of Clementine's mental state. Will we take the advice of the villain and become a villain ourselves, or keep a hold of our humanity and follow our natural instincts to be a hero?

I'd never want to kill Sarah :(
