Start with the right foot with kenny
I dunno about you guys, but I didn't get along with Kenny in the 1st season. Sometimes I was with him, a lot, but a few times I didn't agree about what he was saying wich led to some hesitation when it came down to Kenny saving me. When he died, I felt like I could've been a better friend.. I was so glad when he came back on season 2 because now I can be close to him again with Clem :'D Did this happen to any of you? I hope I'm not the only one...

Never. Kenny is God. You should pray and hope he forgives your sins.
It happened to me as well in one of my playthroughs it feels like a guilt trip when he says it![:) :)](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Wise words, fellow Stache-ist!
No, I've always been bros with him. Even though I want to do another playthrough where I disagree with him sometimes. I want to see what happens if I choose other options.
I always had Kenny's back. I could tell right when I met him that he was good.
But he's not...almighty Christ, right? You're not one of those fans?
Since I didn't play blind, I went in attempting to be Kenny's bro. I even killed Larry and agreed with the boat plan, but in the end I had to do the whole "Clem is my family" line to get him to come with me. I killed Beatrice, took Lilly with us, beat him up, and saved Ben. I'm just too nice to go along with Kenny's methods.
I was sadly not on the best terms with Kenny in Season 1. I tried to do good and I agreed with nobody when Lilly and Kenny fought.
I think I'm better with Season 2 Kenny. Unfortunately, Clementine treating Kenny well won't change his opinion on Lee.
I was actually friends with Kenny in my playthrough. But it was weird, because I didn't drop Ben nor did I help kill Larry? I literally got both Kenny and Lilly to like me.
Kenny really liked me at first since I saved his son and stuck by him for the most part, but then he started not liking me when I refused to kill Larry. Things got a little bumpy after that, but the friendship recovered eventually. There was a part in the attic where they were sharing a drink and Kenny said, "Lilly's dad got between us for awhile but now we're good". Or something like that. He didn't hesitate to help me find Clementine.
Hail Kenny, full of boats, the 'stache is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst urbans and blessed is the fruit of thy loins, Duck.
Holy Kenny, Father of Duck, pray for us shitbirds now and in the hour of our bite, amen.
I usually agreed with kenny, and I saltlicked Larry with him.

I really liked him at first, he had his problems, but I was pretty close to him. Up until I tried saving Larry and then the rest of the season was nothing but a power struggle with him. But I still had some respect for him, until he tried fighting me (Lee) because I was pointing out his insatiable tunnel vision. He put others' lives at risk with his stubborn attitude (including Clementine). His final actions of season one gave me some respectful insight on his character, but the fact he told me to fuck off when I asked for his assistance in saving Clementine irked me something fierce.
Now, season 2. I was initialy very happy to see him. Mostly because at that point in the game, I liked virtually no one from the cabin group. But while most enjoyed Kenny on episode 3, I was so tired of his hot headiness, I found him to be boring and annoying. I would love to be able to just walk from not just him, but the whole of the group. It seems the more people you have, the more fucked up shit you seem to run into.
I was a jerk to Kenny sometimes but I left Lilly, killed Larry (I wasn't thinking straight) but didn't drop Ben in Crawford, when he have his speech about why he should come help find Clementinr in E4 I told him "fuck you." Why would he leave Clem like that even if him and Lee weren't great friends? Now I can forgive Kenny after in harms way but I was really pissed with him before S2.
Kenny is many things but Christ isn't one of them.
Well that's good. A genuine Kenny fan.
I was always his friend. My first playthrough of Season 1 ended up with me and him being bros. I even got the Bro Speech in Episode 4 from him, so I was pretty happy to see him again in Season 2.
Amen
Well, Kenny's opinion on Lee is not so bad since he mentions he "was a hell of a guy" and he would never forget how Lee was there for him when he had to face his son's death. Kenny appreciates Lee.
Beating him up is "nice"?
Other than the very beginning, Kenny wasn't hot headed in episode three at all.
Moment of weakness![;) ;)](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
When you join up with him later, he wants to do nothing but save Clem. He almost sacrifices his life to allow you to get away from walkers and find her (in the alley scene at least..)
Kenny is love, Kenny is life.
Long live the holy ruler of boats.
Thanks pal
I usually agreed with Kenny so my Lee was friends with him in season 1 as is Clementine in season 2
No, I think the player meant that it wasn't so nice- as it's one of the actions that Kenny's opinion of Lee would be affected negatively by.
Well, there was that moment with Mike.
And he got pretty agitated when people considered Luke's plan over his own.
So, yeah - Kenny has his hot headed moments.
Kenny doesn't say that Lee was a hell of a guy if he wasn't on good terms with him. Instead he says something like "He and I had our differences, that's for sure..." and then goes on to talk about how he helped him deal with Duck.
Uhh... no. They said: "I'm just too nice to go along with Kenny's methods." Given that, it's ironic that they decided to beat Kenny up.. considering that wasn't the "nice" option to choose in that particular situation.
Hallelujah
Forgot about his moment with Mike. He was relatively calm for like 90% of the episode though.
I'm not saying that Kenny doesn't have his hot headed moments..
...comment which bears a positive and grateful intent. And when Kenny says "You know, I half expected to see Lee walk up next to you. You guys were like two peas in a pod." you can see in Kenny's face how Lee's memory isn't irritating or irksome, but rather...warm, melancholic even. And that's something your'e gonna get wether you were nice with Kenny or not.
I know, I was just clarifying. Besides, even if he hated Lee, of course he wasn't going to go on about how much of a shitbag he thought Lee was in front of his surrogate daughter 2 years after his death.
He could've been less affectionate upon remembering him, though.
Maybe he thought reasoning with Kenny wasn't going to work and chose to go with the fighting him, instead? (not sure - but do you get less options to choose from if Kenny's opinion of Lee isn't as high at that point? If that's the case, maybe the option to reason with him wasn't available).
From what I recall, Kenny was in denial and was stubbornly refusing to stop the train because he couldn't face the fact that his kid was dying - if the player chose to beat Kenny up to get him to stop, well...it's not nice, but the action is understandable, given the situation.
Maybe said player got this line from Kenny: "I'm tryna' protect a REAL family here! Not that fuckin' SHAM you're runnin' back there!"
That's Kenny insulting Lee's parenting skills and love for Clementine. Who wouldn't consider backhanding him a couple of times after that?
Hell, I know I would (if not that, there would be one Hell of a verbal assault on his ears).
That's the best thing about this game - you can either base your choices on what you hope will be a good outcome or you can base them on how you would respond in those exact situations (making the consequences of you choices all the more real - good outcome or not).
Oh yeah, that brospeech was amazing. I was really flattered.
I like Kenny, but he needs to limit his swearing and violence. I guess it's comprehensible why he lost it in that truck, as Bill just killed his friend Walter, though if he didn't knock himself out by accident then presumably he would have gotten himself killed.
I constantly sided and agreed with him in Season 1, so before you jump to any conclusions of me being a "Kenny hater" I want you to know that Kenny has been my favorite male deuteragonist since 2012. If Sarita dies or reanimate, then I am afraid that might be it for Kenny's humanity.
I loved Kenny in S1, I was nice to Duck and Katjaa and was good to him as well when it was over little things or comfort over his family's death. However, I barely sided with him after episode 1. I chose him over Lilly in discussions but tried to save Larry (Clem was there!) and shot the girl at the beginning of episode 3. I also didn't want to just leave Omid to die or drop Ben. I could've been a better friend, but I had a hard time siding with him because we just thought differently. Kenny still came with me after I said "Clem's family" and he said Lee was "a hell of a guy", so he must've still considered me a friend.
