Which Lilly is Canon Lilly (To You)?
In October 2012, the Robert Kirkman book Road to Woodbury was released, telling the story of Lilly's journey to Woodbury, the infamous town ruled by The Governor in The Walking Dead. On these forums, there was loads of controversy. Why? Because the novel completely ditched Telltale's Lilly, although Robert Kirkman gave the OK on this game, implying OUR Lilly was the COMIC Lilly. Either way, what's done is done, but it's even more confusing than the Legend of Zelda timeline. Actually no. That makes enough sense. Nonetheless, which Lilly to you is the REAL Lilly?
Telltale's Lilly - This Lilly meets up with Lee Everett in Macon, and builds a strong group. She survives with them a while until killing Doug/Carley and is forced away/betrays the group and leaves. Overtime, she makes her way to a settlement called Woodbury. She lives there until a group "wrecks havoc" on Woodbury, forcing the Governor and his army to attack. It's Lilly that kills Lori and Judith Grimes, a mother and infant. Enraged at killing a baby, she kills the Governor in a rage and runs off with an unknown fate.
Robert Kirkman's (Novel) Lilly - This Lilly ventures from a field camp out onto the road with her close group of friends and others she finds along the way. Overtime, she makes her way to a settlement called Woodbury. She lives there until a group "wrecks havoc" on Woodbury, forcing the Governor and his army to attack. It's Lilly that kills Lori and Judith Grimes, a mother and infant. Enraged at killing a baby, she kills the Governor in a rage and leads her group out of the prison. Lilly then becomes the leader of the new Woodbury. (This could also be considered for Telltale's Lilly, but the first 3 quarters of the book conflict with that)
"Season 2" Lilly - This Lilly meets up with Lee Everett in Macon, and builds a strong group. She survives with them a while until killing Doug/Carley and is forced away/betrays the group and leaves. She then lives on the road and survives on her own, until she comes across Clementine and Kenny from her former group nearly two years later. (This obviously hasn't happened, but it's for those who believe Telltale has ditched their original idea of Lilly and has decided she's her own character that can come back to the game)

telltales lilly
I don't care if the novels were written by kirkman himself I always considered them bullshit to me the lilly from telltale's game is the comic lilly unless lilly comes back this season then I will believe the novel lilly is the comic lilly
Both of them are canon. The Kirkman one went to Woodbury, but Telltale's still exists. She is unknown.
TellTale's Lilly.
Wasn't it confirmed by Kirkman that they were different people?
Season 2 Lilly is a cool idea!
I have no idea. I DO know that most of us here are loyal to Telltale more than we are to Robert Kirkman. Although I do love the comic series. Wish we could've seen Father Gabriel in this game.
Why wouldn't we be? Telltale's writing puts his to shame.
Yeah, Kirkman said they were different because he didn't like TellTale Lilly or something, and hey, if it keeps open the possibility that she'll return sometime in the future, then I'm all for him not liking her. :P I'll go with season 2 Lilly.
I still want to believe that she's the same woman who killed the Governor, but if she comes back in Season 2 or the future, I don't think I'll have a problem with it.
