Whats your theories on Christa?
I just want to see what you guys think. I am curious myself. Do you think Christa will return alive or do you think she is dead? Where do you think she is or might be? Post theories. : )

She died
She'll be back. Whether it's alive or zombified I have no idea. I wouldn't be surprised if she is dead after what happened to Omid. They obviously don't want to keep too many people around. :------(
Really? I don't remember seeing or hearing a gun shot from the woods in Episode 1.
I wish Omid didn't die so early into Episode 1, I really liked Omid. : (

Me too! It was so frustrating. I wasn't even really sad just angry. It wasn't fair haha. It felt so forced? I dunno it just felt wrong. I wasn't ready to lose Omid and the very first episode?! He was the funniest character. :---(

I am really interested to see how the story could have been different if that girl with the gun never even appeared in the beginning of Episode 1. I wonder how much will be different. ^.^

You can think that, but we can't say anything until we see her die. All i'm saying is, if she died we'd see her dead body, but knowing we are a long way from where that happened, the only other option is for her to show up (but she'll probably die really quickly anyway). My reasoning behind that is that Telltale wouldn't leave it at that very vague gun shot that doesn't really tell us anything. When there's an off screen death, we nearly always end up finding out what happened to said person.

She at least got stabbed, and screamed so it doesn't look good for Christa, never know though, they might Deus Ex Machina her like Kenny, she doesn't have his fandom so i don't see that happening.
I think she probably was raped/killed.
Dear god, I hope she wasn't raped, but she probably has a decently bad wound, if she's still alive.
I'll be most likely pleased to see her dead. I've always hated her. But a cliffhanger about her would be even better. I LOVE cliffhangers.
This is my theory about Christa:
In Ep4 "Amid the ruins" Rebcca probably born, a child.
Well, after that Rebecca dies and Clem run because of the Zombies
Then she met Christa, and Christa will babysit Rebecca child

More like, Why do you like Christa?
She thinks she has everything figured out, Self-Righteousness. The kind of attitude that pisses me off the most.
I feel like we may see her at the VERY end of Episode 4. Something along a cliffhanger as much as Clem seeing her, making eye contact, and the episode ending.

Self-righteous? I just got the feeling she was very assertive... I mean, she has nowhere near the amount of "I have everything figured out" attitude that Kenny has, which I definitely appreciated.
Speaking of, the biggest reason I'm a fan of Christa was that finally, after being stuck with Kenny and Lilly for ages, we got a major character who wasn't a vindictive, irrational asshole. She's the only one to forgive Vernon for his justifiable theft of the boat. She's one of few characters who tell Lee that he's actually doing a good job in taking care of Clem, provided you're civil to her. She's more than willing to risk her life to help Clem, multiple times, while Kenny was more than willing to let a little girl die based on a petty grudge he had against her guardian. Also, I just found myself agreeing with her most of the time.
I really hope she returns alive, though I can see why people would dislike her abrasiveness.
That gunshot bodes ill, but...it just doesn't seem right for that to be it for her character right there. After all that time looking after Clem...she gets killed by a few dudes with spears off screen.
I really hope she comes back, and I think she will, eventually.
Hopefully there's a [HUG] option. She deserves it. :C
Yeah, I didn't like Kenny either. And Vernon was an asshole, There's no justification. And when exactly did she say that I'm taking good care of Clem? She just stood there, Heavily criticizing Lee for putting Clem "In danger". I've never heard a single good word from her until i chopped off my arm. I am a Chaotic-Neutral, And the last thing you want to do with that kind of character is being self-righteousness or assertive as you say.
Then that will make me more super pumped about Episode 5 : D

Actually, there's plenty of justification for Vernon's actions. By the way, do you know if there's any way to find really old posts again? I remember there was a huge discussion on why/why not Vernon was justified a while back, but I can't find it. I'm not on the forums often so I have no idea
And there're plenty of times she tells Lee he's doing good, like when she commends him for teaching her to use a gun. And I'm guessing you're referring to the scene where Christa chews Lee out for taking Clem into the train station alone, but if you talk to her about it later she actually admits that learning to work together with Clem alone is a good idea, and gives some good tips on how to work together. Avoiding buildings with only one entrance/exit, or being sure to always look in different directions for example.

I don't think that's possible. I've always hated Vernon for the exact same reasons. People who think their ways of thinking are always the right thing to do.
Kenny is always trying to help by purposing ideas, But he's a bit of childish though.

Any professional survivalist knows that sticking to one strategy won't get you far in circumstances such as these. So, You have to be open to new strategies. I can't give you an exact example from TWDG, But it's there.
That must be why everyone in The Walking Dead dies :P
