Would Lee have met Rick?

So in the beginning of episode one, Lee is being taken to West Central Prison, where Rick and the others stay in the comics. If the car crash had not happened, do you think that Lee would have stayed with Axel, Andrew, Dexter and Thomas and have met Rick?

    Probably not. Can you imagine the chaos in the prison? People killing each other for no reason, cops shooting everything that moves and prisoners escaping.

    There would of been chance lee could of survived the chaos and met up with the 4 prisoners but no guaranteed Yes or No answers.

    If I recall correctly they released everyone and tried to have the cons help fight off the zombies

    This is just a theory.
    So when lee is taken to the jail he talks to the policeman. Then after a minute the radio goes off
    Then you see a few police cars going the opposite way.
    That police car may have been rick. Or the team chasing the thugs why you encounter at
    the start of the comic and tv series.
    Like I said. Theory so dont nag at me if I soubd rhetorical

    Theoretically, yes, but only if he would have stayed with the other prison survivors Rick and his group found when they arrived there.
