Melissa Hutchison Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything)

Melissa Hutchison is going to be doing a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) at 6PM PDT Friday (or tonight depending on timezones) Here is a link for you to see what time it will be in your local time zone. You will be able to ask her anything (within reason) so this could be the perfect opportunity to ask about The Walking Dead and Clementine or maybe find out if she has recorded her lines for 204 yet :P

This is the subreddit that she will be answering her questions on http://www.reddit.com/r/thewalkingdead/ there will probably be a new thread when she answers her questions but This is the announcement thread, If you want to ask questions you will need to make a account if you don't have one which is free.

    Hmmmmm... interesting... Adam Harrington did some thang like that a few days ago, he went on a livestream and responded to questions on TWAU and TWD and thannngs. Owen Thomas was there too.

    Here's what I asked:

    If you could sum up Episode 4 in one incredibly vague sentence, what would it be?

    Also, will we ever hear Clem laugh? I've always wondered what that would be like and what would cause her to do so.
    Okay, one more; assuming you haven't already gotten the Episode 5 script for Season 2, how do you think Wellington will turn out, or do you think the group even get there?

    Here's the reply:

    Episode4: There are some dudes, and walkers and stuff, and my hat. :)

    It would feel really weird to laugh as Clementine! Thats pretty sad huh:( Perhaps she will have a "maniacal" moment and laugh hysterically? That would be fun! As for Ep 5 I have nooooo clue! I hope that they make it there. It is always nice to make it to a planned destination!

    So what I can take from this is that Wellington is definitely still an option, and that sneaky mention of the hat... maybe Clem does lose it.

    When i read that, the mention of the hat stood out to me also. I think clem might really loose it. Also she doesn't have it in the episode 4 slide.

    voice work is usually the last thing they do........RELEASE THE GAME

    They probably work on basic character animation, settings, textures and stuff while recording's going on. Once recording is done they can lip-sync the characters so the mouth animation matches up to the lines.

    So, I'm not sure. At a guess I'd say they're closer to finishing than starting, but may still have a way to go.

    If she says "of some kind" I doubt she was referring to a person. I think Clementine might lose it in episode 4. (Death of her sanity, death of Clem's hopefulness, death of Clem's innocence, etc.)
