What if There Was a Time Skip Between Episode 4 and 5?

Imagine episode 4 ended with just about everyone/close to everyone dying, an episode 5 started maybe 5 years after (Even though the comics don't go that far) with Clementine and her group of 2-4 other people. And the whole episode focused on a simple day (Just scavenging and walking and talking) and it was all just very quiet and subtle. Instead of going out with a bang, Season 2 ends with a whimper.

How would you feel about that? Would you miss little Clem? Would you welcome older Clem?

P.S., I don't think this will happen the slightest though. I'm sure Episode 4 will end with a cliffhanger.

It would be cool to see Clem grown up but it would be disappointing to end the season on a whimper..

I wouldn't like that at all. I don't like large time skips in the middle of a season.

  • Teenager-grown up Clem for Season3, hell yea! Teenager-grown up Clem for Season2 - Episode5, hell no!

Well...I wasn't thinking 5 years but I do think there's going to be a time skip of a few months for episode 5.

Looking at a map of 'Murica, Wellington is still pretty far away. Which is where I assume the season is ending.

  • I actually thought that possible before, wouldn't be all too against either. The vague eery feeling that Episode Banner gave made me think it was actually possible a long while back. It could still happen But at this point, I'm not too sure it will. I would like it though.

  • Yeah, I think Episode 4 will end on a cliffhanger that will probably never be addressed again, and Episode 5 will start with them arriving in Wellington.

  • That's actually a pretty good idea, but I don't think TellTale would do that because they like to stay with the comics as far as time jumps go.

  • Actually, there was another 2 year timeskip in the comics only very recently, so it isn't impossible for Telltale to do another.

  • But the OP said a 5 year time-skip. Plus their was a 16 month jump in Episode 1.

  • Then Season 3 confirmed.

I'd prefer a few days to a few months rather than year. Maybe, they can do that in season 3..

  • Episode 4 will end with a cliffhanger as you choose to say something like in TWD S1E4 and TWAU E4.
