call me a cynic but IF this did happen i would think cynical and think that Telltale wanted the ending to top the first season and didn't want to continue making Waking Dead games which wouldn't make sense.
I doubt telltale will even refer to our past choices because so far they have ignored everything:

Sitting with Luke "Kenny Will Remember That"
Listening to Rebecca's baby kick "She will remember that"
Not agreeing to be friends with Sarah in ep1 "she will remember that"
and so on...
Unless of course they refer to all of our choices in ep4 and 5 which sadly i don't think they will unless it's a rushed one liner for each choice.
I love this game and series but seriously i'm disappointed by the writing when it comes to our choices this season because no matter what you do, they won't matter.
I have 2 saves to mix my choices for example as stated above, one save i was always nice to Sarah and the other i wasn't and yet no matter what she still acts friendly towards you.
Then Clem has a conversation with him where he gives her crap about her choices.
"When we met back up at the lodge, you chose to sit with… more Luke instead of me for dinner."
* "I'm sorry, I messed up."
* "It wasn't like that."
* "You beard smelled nasty."
* "..."
I would cry. Simply just cry. She's too pure. I see more of a likelihood of Kenny dying, and then Clementine moving onto Season 3 (hopefully). I want Clementine to continue being our protagonist and going into her teenage years. But by the time Season 2 ends, I want a dialogue option where she can swear at someone
What if she got bit and it was equally Kenny and lukes fault. Based on what actually happened who would you blame. Kenny loves Clem so much he might just kill luke or vice versa

Sorry, I didn't even know there were threads like that but one of them will ultimately have to die like in the tv series's with Shane and Rick. They want the same thing and only 1 person can have it
Sad obviously, but absolutely ashamed for Telltale to literally have to thread old ground again. I liked the symbolic similarities Season Two has had (like when Clem was fighting the Walker in the shed, looked like the fight Lee had with Sandra and the fact Clementine is looking out for Sarah like Lee did for Clementine) but that would be pushing it too far.

If Clementine dies, then so does the series. I certainly wouldn't play a series 3 where Clementine is no longer alive.
