Foreshadowing upcoming events

In Season 1 a lot of situations hinted some future events. Knowing this in the back of our minds might help us to foreshadow what might happen in the next episodes.

What do you think are we going to see in "Amid The Ruins" and "No Going Back"?
Are we going to see Christa again? Which role will Eddie play? What about Sara?

Any theories are highly appreciated.

  • I think Sarah will be one of the choices, sort of like with Nick in the cellar in Episode 2. So you could either convince her to come with us and get over her father's death, or leave her behind in depression.

I think Christa will make an appearance. Since her main aim was to get to Wellington, I think she will be in Wellington IF we get there in Episode 5, and then her and Kenny could have their reunion (hug).

And since Eddie is on the slide for Amid The Ruins no matter what, he has got to play a role in the episode, probably minor though.

Apparently people are assuming that if you complete Episode 4, the dead walker in the snow of Episode 5 will look more like Lee

  • I think Episode Four is a perfect time for Christa to return... and let me just point out, the song that plays when Kenny beats the shit out of Carver is a remixed version of the song that plays when Kenny saves Christa/Ben.

  • Sara is going to blow her brains out.

  • I honestly doubt it. Eventually yes, but I feel like we'll at least get some time for her character to grow before it happens... might even happen next season.

Sara is going to blow her brains out.

  • Do you mean due to what she did in her room during the gun talk with Clem?

  • Yup

Rebecca might encounter Christa, which causes them to talk about what has happened to Christa's born/unborn baby. Pursueing that theory: Rebecca might end up delivering it from pain caused by the post-apocalyptic world (sad and highly unlikely theory)

  • I like this whole thing, I just don't think we'll see Christa there :/ It just would be too cliché. I hope Eddie is there, though.

  • I don't think we'll see Christa until Episode 5. If we see her at all. Not to be a Negative Nancy or anything.

  • When Pete kills walkers on the river, before he kills the one nailed with a spear, he says to Clementine "I hope this isn't anyone you know". I swear to God, this is foreshadowing something!

    Wrong reply!

  • That was Winston's spear. So did Pete kill zombie Winston or is the zombie just a random walker?

Could Sarita talking about Good King Wenceslas be foreshadowing? It looks like there could be snow in episode 5 as it's in the slide, maybe the king and servant could be Clementine and another survivor.

  • How fucking fascinating ... but what could that mean?

  • Here's a prediction for the end of Episode 4 and the end of Episode 5.

By the end of Episode 4, Clementine and Rebecca will have been split apart from the group (even though the next time on wouldn't agree, this is what I believe will happen), Rebecca will have her baby, but she will be dying, and we'll get a final choice of either killing her or not (reasons would be unknown why she wouldn't, but maybe we won't get a choice at all, and maybe it'll be completely dependant on what you did at the end of Season 1? But that wouldn't make any sense as that would just take away control from us suddenly). But, guess what? THE BABY WILL HAVE SURVIVED. After you have made your decision, you look over at a city, the city being Wellington.

Clementine is now left alone with the baby, with her one and only objective being to get to Wellington.

The end of Episode 5, is kinda tough to say much about, but I would guess that Clementine will not die, but that she won't be all hunky dory, but instead she will be mentally damaged in one way or another.

  • What if it's foreshadowing the Pizza and Ice-cream choice? That there can be only one servant to help Clementine. Perhaps that bringing food to a poor man could mean something too.

That's kinda off-topic, but I am wondering about that "Whose Baby is it?" line. There had to be consequences but we've never drawn any conclusions by that. The watch for example: We took it or not and then we have faced the consequences in episode 2. All of the sudden Rebecca has been pretty nice to us since episode 2. Depending on how you play a certain someone, you know who I mean can die and there has never been any scene in which that threatening behavior of yours at the dinner table played against you. I can't believe that this situation will never be dealt with. So I am foreshadowing that Clem and Rebecca might have a second dispute in which she will hold what you said against you or actually side with you.
