Of course I hope they make season two. I've seen enough to know I love the game and there is so many more characters left to meet.
  • It depends on how well the first season does but if it does well then I think we can expect another season but it may be a while after they have finished with borderlands and game of thrones.
  • True and if it's like the walking dead it will be out late next year

  • As long as they don't kill bigby or snow off I would love them to make a season two. If choices made could have a bigger effect on what happens that would be good. A style where you have various 'good' or 'bad' endings would be nice providing it's done in as little linear method as possible, the way some games has done them seems so corny at times. I understand budgetry issues if you spend years making a single game so it can just have millions of different stories especially when mainly audio and visual work, especially the visual as to do fantastic high def computer stuff always takes an age to do but I'm sure it would make a lot of people very happy
  • They can't kill off Bigby because of the actual Fables comics happening after Wolf.

I think TellTale will make a Season 2 of the Wolf Among Us set after the final issue(it's coming to an end) and will reflect on your choices from season 1.

  • That would give them a lot more freedom with the video game but how would they do that without confusing the non-comic book reader fans?

  • If they do it will be years from now. WB won't let them touch it until their movie is released.

  • I reckon season 2 should carry on not long after the first season.

  • That's true. But the game has a certain direction, not letting you choose what will happen to characters in the comics (it would by like a time paradox).

  • Well I doubt that. But, the game is set 20 years before the first comic issue, so it is a good possibility.

  • A second season would be great, but we will probably have to wait a while because of Tales from the Borderlands and GoT. As for what it might be about, I am pretty sure it will be another prequel set story to the comics because Telltale is good about the fact they dont want to force players to have prior knowledge of a series to play one of theirs. But anyway, I'm praying for a second season and hopefully a DLC will come up while Tales from the Borderlands is coming out.

  • TWAU has been amazing, and it's hard to think of this one season as all we'd get out of such a great game world. If there is going to be a season 2, it should probably take place in those twenty years before the comics. There's all that empty time to fill, after all, and it's plenty for another little "adventure". Having it after the comics seems a bit strange, as those who only played the game will probably be a bit confused by the time jump and all the material between the first season and the second. They could try to summarize everything you'd absolutely need to know, but it's nicer not to need all that background info and to just be able to enjoy the story.

  • i wont be able to function if there is no season 2 ... if TWD can have multiple seasons then the wolf among us defiantly can

  • Yes, also a Walking Dead Season 3. :D

  • Telltale will not make a season 2. They only signed a one season contract with Vertigo.

  • depends I don't think many of you know but game of thrones is confirmed to have multiple seasons already so there is that plus they are doing borderlands and there is a high chance they might do the walking dead season 3 cause you know they gotta milk that cash cow I think after finishing borderlands they are going to only focus on game of thrones and maybe the walking dead and I'm not sure if this is true but like someone above said they only signed a one season contract so yea

Telltale most likely isn't making a season two. Apparently, there was much drama involved with the production, and i think the massive rewrite of the game will lead to this story just ending after episode 5. Im sure they wouldnt mind dumping some of the workload they got right now and just fully focus on Game of Thrones and Borderlands.

  • Maybe some time in the future but I doubt they will make a 2nd season anytime soon. I will be waiting, however, for that day. :)

  • I don't see how they are going to conclude this story in a 90 minute episode. I do hope for a second season.

    What's probable to happen:
Chapter 1: Talking to CM and fighting the rest of the crew
;C.2: Talk to Snow about what happened
;C.3:Talking with Nerissa, maybe she'll give us a clue
;C.4: Going somewhere, find BM and fight her
;C.5:Find the killer and arrest/kill them
    ;C.6: Ending.
If it's like this, maybe 90 minutes is enough, of course more is better, but we still need to find Faith's body, hearing the killer's story..., so it might be more than 90 minutes.

  • There isn't a 6th chapter, only 5 of them. It only shows 5 of them on the chapter selection.

I hope they have at LEAST 2 hours if not, more on the final episode. Not sure how they plan to fill in the blanks PLUS the final battle. A 2nd season would be nice but it does not look that way. :(

  • I think if they were ill equipped to handle the workload, they wouldn't have taken on two new properties.

  • Or maybe they bit off more than they could chew. You can see it in the games they are producing right now. They're so streamlined that they feel more like interactive tv shows than actual video games.

  • I'm praying for a Season 2 so badly. Unfortunately, with GoT and Tales from the Borderlands, we might have to wait longer than we would like, but we can hopefully expect a DLC sometime while Tales and GoT is coming out.

Also - I have a feeling that since TT changed Season 1 completely with the whole Detective Brannigan thing, they might add that for a good story as a Season 2, since S2 will probably take place during the 20 year prequel like S1 did

  • You don't think that's a choice?

Thread: Season 2 The Wolf Among Us

Please forgive me if this was already posted but I was unable to find it. I wanted to know if there was going to be a Season 2 of The Wolf Among Us?

Also, I wanted to know what could we do to help make it happen if there are no plans for another season. I absolutely love The Wolf Among Us and want to see another Season 2 for it!

    Thanks for reading! :)

  • Many people want it, but it's still unknown whether there's going to be one or not.

  • I came here to ask exactly the same thing. Add me to the list of people with fingers crossed.

  • My fingers are crossed and hopefully, we will know. :)

  • Y'know, I must be the only one who doesn't think TWAU Season 2 is a great idea. Personally, I would love for TWAU to remain it's own entity in the Fables universe, not having to dance around in fear of breaking canon to create a second season. If they could pull it off without breaking canon, I'd love it, but it's not too realistic a proposal.

it would be nice but i doubt it.

  • I just came to this website specifically to find some posts or talk about a potential 2nd season of this, and right here on the first page of the community section i see this thread, just made this account to leave a comment. I can't even explain how much I enjoy this game, just everything about it, the whole Fable concept is so interesting and mysterious, i really would love to see more from this series!!
