Kenny doesn't seem very sad about...
This could be evidence for Sarita surviving or just a preview mistake...
But if Sarita is so likely to die, from chopping the arm to the bite, then why wasn't Kenny depressed in the preview or sad? You'd think if your other love of your life died during an escape, you'd be broken about it.
He didn't seem affected in the preview. Well, we all know how accurate previews are, but still... could Sarita have survived then?

I think the preview was trying not to mention Sarita in any way so her fate can be a mystery in Ep 4.
His son and wife died and he got through that, so it would be easy to get over the possible death of a girl he knew for a year.
It's because the previews have literally nothing to do with the end result.
I agree with @ArthurMatrix it's probably to leave her fate open, like Luke was never seen in trailer or preview and not even mentioned.
This is how the world is now, and you'd better just get used to it.
If they showed Kenny as being depressed, it would outright spoil that Sarita died, so that's likely the reason that he isn't sad or anything. Granted she has almost zero chance of survival, but what happens to her will be revealed in the next Episode and they don't want to tip us off to her fate before then.
Wouldn't it make sense, then, if Kenny wasn't in the trailer at all? Now, it seems as if she is alive and he is unaffected.
he should still have some sort of reaction. whether clem does it or someone else does, that arm's gotta come off, and after what happened with lee, kenny should be atleast worried about her. given their history with makin the trailers pretty much full of shit, i think if we see anything from the trailer in the next episode, the only reaction i'll have is "oh wow, they actually remembered what they showed us was supposed to happen." ...
it's a shame, but it seems more like this season's taken a stance of "mystery through omission" where they just leave us curious about everything by not talking about or showing it, rather than through actual plot development. sure, we'll find out in next episode what happens with sarita, but the only things the trailer has me wondering about is if kenny will still be "pretty", and how long it'll take jane to stab clem in the back. i wouldn't be surprised if they push rebecca's baby scene back to episode 5 to end the season. not like we haven't seen scenes get recylced a few times in trailers and not actually show up in anything but the next trailer...
sarita's expendable regardless of what happened, and i doubt she'll make it out of episode 4 alive, since they're runnin out of time to make kenny truly break.
Maybe they left Sarita to rest like Omid in S1E4
Katjaa was the love of his life. Sarita was to Kenny what Rosita was to Abraham.... Rosita, Sarita, damn I should've gotten that earlier.
Or Nick, or Sarah.
They only showed one interaction with him the Episode 4 preview though.
But yeah, Kenny probably won't be too broken up. On the account he's a broken man.
He doesn't seem too in love with her, in my opinion. People kinda exaggerate Kenny's love for Sarita who he knew for like a year.
Nick is determinant. They don't show determinant charachters in previews.
The good thing is, achievements don't really reveal too much. For example, achievements for Episode 3 weren't that good to be honest, but we still had the ending being Sarah going missing, Sarita gettng bitten and Carlos dying. And Kenny's lost his eye and we've seen the 400 Days characters. So it's unknown for us if Sarita survived the bite or not, but that's the fun of it.
We don't know!
I think Kenny's reaction will reveal how much he's changed since Season One.
Alvin and Nick were in the Episode 3 preview.
With everyone in danger, Kenny may not have time to be sad.
He's got an entire group to look after, not just Clementine.
Sometimes, as people, we have to put our personal feelings aside, in order to do what needs to be done.
Refresh my memory, please.
Who is Abraham again?
I don't remember him on the show!
He's from the comics.
Abraham in the comics is fairly similar to the show; he's the guy that's traveling with Rosita (girlfriend) and Eugene (pet scientist/ward). His crusade is to bring Eugene safely to Washington DC, because Eugene claims he can cure the zombie plague if only he reaches the government's facilities. Going any further would bring in too many spoilers. The trio meet Rick (several volumes I think) after the prison arc.
It's important to remember that previews are pretty much placeholders in terms of animation. Consider the preview for episode 3, when Kenny was beaten and we saw Clem's face. Her expression in that read "oh, shiny object", rather than what we saw in the episode "arghhh, dear friend being beaten to death!" Previews aren't always like that, but don't put too much stock in character's reactions in previews.
I think they didn't put any emotion in Kenny to avoid spoilers about Sarita's fate.
They were in the trailer, not the preview.
I think the part of the trailer when he shows Clem his eye might be before anything happens to Sarita. He's not exactly dancing in joy, but he doesn't seem particularly sad either. The other part he appears on he's on a shitty situation (no time for mourning) but he seems really angry. And we all know how Kenny processes grief...
Just like how they kept Luke out of the teaser of episode three, they're going to keep Sarita and Kenny's reactions to her obvious death out of it. That'd just be too obvious to see the fate of her turn out like that. Who knows though, maybe Sarita WILL live after all. I know that if you cut off her arm there's obviously blood getting into the wound, but maybe they clean it out of proceed to cut off more of her arm with a better tool... or maybe Kenny will cut off too much and cause her to die of blood loss.
Either way, they just aren't going to show that in the teasers. That'd be like having the S1E3 teaser have Kenny constantly crying and mourning the death of his wife and child which we had yet to see the death of.
Remember how if you surrendered in Episode 2 one of the scenes in the previews was Kenny saying, "I don't know if we could have saved Walt, but I know one of us didn't just give up."?
And remember how that didn't happen at all? Yeah, previews don't give the best impression.
They were. Alvin was on the chair beaten and bloody like the Episode. And I think Nick was listening to Carver say 'Some folks might be sore about what happened'.
Heh, "SORE about what happened"... oh Carver, you're such a kidder.
Oh yeah, now I remember.
He's the big red-haired guy with the biker mustache.
You don't always have to know the person for a long time to love them.
And in a world where every moment could be your last, you tend to become close real fast.
It's amazing how similar they look.
I think you nailed this discussion shut!
Good job man.
UK as much as IK that Kenny is deffitstated as much as anybody thinks, he's got a lot on his plate k incase you forgot things gone to hell
Actually Luke was mentioned. Kenny says were is Luke while Rebecca is going into labour or whatever.
SPOILER ALERT EPISODE 2 !!!!
Look guys there is a reason TTG didnt show Carver in the preview of House Divided ehen he knocked on Clementine's door and she opened and it was somebody else a complete stranger and not Carver and in the actual episode it was Carber so TTG can change or fake anything that is why I say its confirmed that..
SARITA's status is a mystery and unknown
Wrong thread. Oops.
Were talking about Kenny amigo not episode 2, sorry
I meant that teaser trailers ainy completely trustable bro just read it and u ll get it xD
But that's after we know he's alive. After Episode 2 his status was unknown, but it isn't anymore, so now he can be mentioned without giving too much away
If Sarita gets away from the walkers after screaming her head off, she should only survive if you chopped her arm off. Otherwise she should turn. Making people die regardless of player actions (just like Doug or Carley) kinda negates the importance of choices IMO.
