I agree with everything except for the graphics and animation in season two seem to look way cleaner, crisp, and more fluid compared to season one. The gameplay is better in season 2 due to the most amazing hold the "slightly walk faster" button.
Antagonist is a tough one, because Carver would be better than the stranger if there was more build up and he was the proper villain, but the season hasn't ended yet so I think it's harder to judge, althouh IMO Ep 3 of S1 blew out S2's EP3 by fudging miles.

Yeah Carver had the potential to be the best antagonist of the franchise, but he was killed off too early and he wasn't developed quite enough.
I feel like S1 didn't have one antagonist. There were the St. John brothers, the bandits, and the stranger. S2 seems to be heading in this direction also because they killed Carver off so early. But on the topic of which have been more dangerous, I have to say Carver because he had an "army" behind him, whether when it came down to just Lee v. St John brothers or Lee v. the stranger it was just the two of them.

Season 1 wins in everything but cosmetics(graphics/music) and (arguably) action.
