  • I'm about to watch the teaser.

So...next game looks pretty I guess.

  • Great. We need to connect via twitter or e-mail or Private discussion on these forums to explain what I've accomplished so far and what i need for the first conception and the next level of developing. What do you suggest?

Sounds like this could be a line to consider a bit more then, it has potential. There are things to figure out with it however, such as how

  • It's pretty. And I'm hyped after seeing those images. But the lack of a release date or a title is annoying.

  • Agreed, I was expecting at least the name of the new Mass Effect.

  • Yes, Pretty annoying. But i understand their caution because in the condition of one tiny screw-up after ME3 fans will rage fiercely. So, It has to be a masterpiece.

  • As far as the ending goes, i'm in a bit of a special boat. I wasn't able to pre-order ME3 and so I heard all of the outcry before I was able to play. I went into the game expecting the absolute worst with how people were reacting. So, I guess I was lucky in that my expectations were so low, the ending didn't bother me much at all. Not saying it was a good ending, but it got blown out of proportion quite a bit (i.e. death threats)..I mean seriously??

I'm absolutely looking forward to the next ME game. If anything, Bioware knows they have to deliver, because if they give 2 disappointments in a row..that's pretty much it as far as ME goes.

Hopefully we get more info soon. I'm sure they want to keep as much of fans attention on Dragon Age Inquisition as they can so I can see why they didn't give us much info at E3.

  • I played the three games after two years from ME3 release. Deal with it. :D

Seriously, Yes, The ending's hatred was massively exaggerated. The EC fixed the control ending in specific. The setting of the ending still sucks, But Control was fixed. Synthesis still needed a lot of work, Alongside with Destroy. In order to be believable.

I'm hyped for ME4 as well. I'm more concerned that Mac Walters is the lead writer, That's all.

  • The choices did matter, but they didn't matter to the end.Just at other points in the story.

After Mass Effect 3, i could care less about that series. Choices matter my butt. I am Rome 2 done with mass Effect series as a whole.

  • I was a bit pissed, but then I was like meh. Time to replay the whole trilogy as renegade femshep! :D

Am I the only one who got permanently burned from the ME3 ending and never want to play ME again? I was an absolutely massive fan before that, I was even going to get an N7 tattoo, thank goodness I didn't!

  • Yeah same thing happened to me. I played all 3 games one after another since I brought the whole trilogy in one go. I mean, the first 2 games endings were great, me2 ESPECIALLY, probably one of my favourite endings to a game. I was also expecting a real shitshow but I was just confused really at the end, not really that angry. It wasn't THAT bad.

  • I expected a big cliffhanger which would be a trademark for games with unconventional enemies. But ME3's twist is not surprising and doesn't make sense.

When I was playing the beginning of Mass Effect 1, I thought "Meh, for what I've seen, the characters are not going to be so developped". God, how was I wrong. I just finished the third game, and I gotta say this was the best gaming experience I've ever had.

    Keelah se'lai.

  • Did that experience include Mac Walters' ending?

  • Nope, Extended Cut :v. Yeah, that's why it was great. This game and its universe is great.

Also, is that a Mass Effect avatar you're using? If so, we'll get it pretty SOON.

I love the ME series to death. Never actually finished 3 because of the ending though.

Yes, FemShep from Mass Effect 3. Even with the extended cut, The ending is till bad. Tell me, Which ending did you choose?

The Extended Cut is more bearable than the original ending. But I understand your reasons. I, Myself had a very sharp depression after the ending.

I chose the good ending (for me), the sacrifice. Everyone was saved, and the Synthetics now understand the Organics and all. The cycle won't continue, and the Reapers helped rebuild all the stuff.

Also, I really don't think the ending was still bad. Call me retarded, but I cried in that ending. I actually felt happy and all for letting everyone live, with the cost of my life.

  • Synthesis. My choice as well, But for different reasons. Synthesis needed to be introduced more probably, It was very poorly introduced which created massive hatred for it. I also don't get it how it's supposed to create a new DNA via Shepard jumping off the cliff. Could just throw any Reaper tech instead. They're also a hybrid of Organics and synthetics.

  • I dunno, man, it's Shepard. Shepard can do pretty much everything.

Nobody knew about this solution of synthesis there, they just knew that the Crucible could destroy the Reapers. I don't think just the Reaper tech could do this thing of synthesis. Also, I didn't feel so bad about the ending, I just enjoyed it.

  • The fights with all the monsters and the last time I saw my squadmates, Liara and James. It was very cool and dramatic, because I had romanced Liara in the first game and then hooked up with Tali in the next game. It felt like she still loved me in the inside with her sad look (it may be just me, but fuck it, it was cool). The scene with TIM and Anderson was very cool too, even though I couldn't convince the him that he failed; and the scene of the sacrifice, followed by those cutscenes.

  • That took me way too long to work that out

  • Yeah, I decided not to level up Charm because I didn't see the reasons to level it up. Now I regret that decision painfully.

What?! THAT BITCH! So I'm assuming that you didn't have your persuasion high enough?

  • Here's hoping. Still, I lol when I see comments like "Wow! It's fucking nothing!" in regards to how they revealed so little.

  • It makes me more hyped up, But more worried. I have concerns that the shift of focus on graphics and Mac Walters remaining as the led writer of the series are gonna damage the storyline aspect. The aspect that The Mass Effect trilogy mastered. They're surely gonna focus on exploration, But Will the story be good? We have to wait to answer that.
