First off you're asking this in the walking dead board lol so it's probably gonna be TWD winning. I like both but I would probably go with TWD mainly because we've known and played the game longer plus it has clem and Kenny so it wins :P.Plus Walking dead is also better because we don't know whats gonna happen and we don't know who will live or die. TWAU book readers pretty much know who will live and die. With the 3rd episode of TWAU the gap has closed a little though. that was an awesome episode.
Well, with TWAU, that game series has only just started and had barely set its footing. Like I've said before in the past, TWD can be a little bit slow in the beginning too (mostly around episode 3, actually). I think some more time need to be given to TWAU before a fair judgement could be given.

They are two excellent games, but TWAU has that touch of impredictability and suspense that The Walking Dead completely lacks once you figure out how the system works.
You can always say who is gonna die next, make predictments, and the story is not gonna change anyway.
The wolf among us also develops on a set course of events, but i think you have a more free way to approach things and your actions actually have a lot more of mistery on how they're gonna change the events in following episodes.
I'd say Walking Dead, though Wolf Among Us is still close. But between the two, TWD entices me to commit more playthroughs than TWAU. TWD feels more character driven for me, rather than more world driven for TWAU. Both stories are great; I enjoy reading the comics from both universes, but I just like playing through with Lee and Clem more.
DayZ, where zombies are so realistic they walk straight through walls to get to you, yet can't figure out how stairs work, and that is if u manage to FIND a zombie...
Walking Dead no compitition. TWAU is entertaining but hasn't given me a single feel yet. plus zombies are WAY more my style than fuckin' frog people. both great games but TWD is just WAY better.
The Walking Dead, season 1 gave me a lot of feels, and I believe that they could do the same for season 2
The Wolf Among Us is very good, especially the last scene in Episode 3, but no feels yet.
I played TWD just because there were no more TWAU episodes to continue so far.. (And I've been pretty fed up with the zombie theme in all the media, so..)
One of the things one has to consider is the time each episode takes to release. TWD is a much more requested series, i'll give you that, but TWAU works perfectly in this kind of engine due the crime theme and characters nature in the game.
It's much more compelling and it makes your head think instead of which is the best decision to make for a group. If you're playing in a post apocalyptic world, increase your numbers to survive, even if it means saving a character to later give him/her to zombies so that You can survive. It's basic, i guess.
I respect others opinion, of course, but on the other hand, TWAU will make you scratch your head thousands of times, because you think you already know the culprit suddenly, it all changes, and you have to rethink again how the different characters are involved in the plot.
I'll add to that, to "prefer" a game between TWAU and TWD, who have to played (or try) them both, otherwise it's just a matter of taste, not opinion.
So, I don't know who or why votes are being counted, so one more for TWAU.
(and yes mate, you seem like someone from Telltale)

Nop. You're wrong. At least for the search of the 'find a discussion he like to comment'.
I've been searching for (more) alternatives to TWD and TWAU games, and as I googled it, this was the 2nd result on the google search.
I've started to read the comments and... well, let's just say that when you really like a game, and you start to see very good points of view posted by users, your 'Gamer' side has to come out, and it did.
By the way, I've been to ask jakobennis this:
How can you say TWD is better since you've never played TWAU?
That is a mystery beyond my comprehension
To be honest... I have to go with The Walking Dead Season 2, don't get me wrong I loved The Wolf Among Us, but in my opinion (and because I am a fan of TWD) I have to go with The Walking Dead Season 2 :P

Walking Dead Season 2.

you sayd in the past ? then why say it again..
The Walking Dead by a million miles.
Do you ever get satisfied?
I like Twau a bit more now after episode 3 so Twau it is.
I'd say The wolf Among Us.

To reiterate the point I was trying to make here...?
Probably walking dead. I like both stories, but i'm not too into the whole murder mystery thing compared to walking dead.

Both are equally as good in my eyes, so a tough decision.. But I would say....................................The walking Dead season 2
DayZ
The Wolf Among Us story seems more interesting at the moment after how epic episode 3 was.
DayZ, where zombies are so realistic they walk straight through walls to get to you, yet can't figure out how stairs work, and that is if u manage to FIND a zombie...

TWAU imo
I'm a lot more invested in The Walking Dead than the The Wolf Among Us.

can anyone count the votes would be awesome
im not always in here

The Wolf Among Us. I love both, but TWAU has such lovely colorful characters.
To be honest... I have to go with The Walking Dead Season 2, don't get me wrong I loved The Wolf Among Us, but in my opinion (and because I am a fan of TWD) I have to go with The Walking Dead Season 2 :P
