So I'm going to play The Walking Dead for the first time...
I'm completely unspoiled and have avoided this game for reasons which amount to being completely stupid since I'm a TWD, zombie, AND Telltale fan.
So, what am I in for?
What should the TWD virgins expect from this experience?
All I know is everyone seems to love it.

Prepare yourself for feels.
A hell of a lot of feels.
By the time you finish Season One there's a high chance you'll be left in a state of philosophical sorrow.
You're life is about to get a ticket for the FEEL TRAIN
dude I can not be leave you didn't play the game!
Oh and your gone feel a lot when you find out you miss all the fun
Prepare yourself for feels!
Also I suggest staying out of the forums until you play the whole thing, because
you're*
Do not get emotional. Like people said, do not read many posts. There are way too many spoilers. I played the entire season one on PS Vita retail and still waiting for season 2 retail on Vita. The waiting is very hard.
PS3 for me, I did't care about PS4 that much
Boat.
I'd call this forum a place for people with a severe exposure to feels.
There's yo' answer. Now if you don't mind, I still haven't cried enough about...
Oh, wait, spoilers. Sorry.
I don't want to brag but...
Best prepare yourself for them feels.
Having been playing for much of today.
Damn, you guys weren't kidding.
NO ONE IS SAFE!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ONE!
You're right! THE FEELS!
The above was in reaction to what happened with Carley and Lilly.
mind...blown.
THEN THE REST OF THE EPISODE HAPPENED!
Wish I could go back and feel it like I did the first time.
Try to keep your first time unspoilt, leave all those decisions you thought about later being horrible or not right as they were. It just makes the experience that much more personal. That's if you plan on playing it more than once
.
You're very lucky that you get to have that raw emotion if you decide to pick up season 2 without the long break many of us had to deal with. I envy that even though episode 4 and 5 aren't out yet.
Oh it might change how you look at things in real life after it's done. I'd suggest you always wait out the credits, always. I found it's a good way to reflect on what was going on in the episode.
You will cry. A lot.
You are forced to watch them cause if you don't it won't save the progress...
DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
Oh yeah, and don't be too quick to judge episode 1. Episode one is only okay, the rest are much better, trust me![:) :)](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
PREPARE. YOUR. HEARTH. BRO!
After you finished the game. come here to talk to us about what you thought of the experience! you will need some friends. ^ _ ^
If your like me, the kinda person that crys at Finding Nemo, then this game gonna make you cry buckets.
To be completely honest, I suggest you wait longer. Until episode 5 is out.
How's it going?
I am finished with Episode 3 and had to put it down for a bit because there's only so much concentrated emotion I can take at a time. A friend of mine sort of ruined the mood as he pointed out the Carley/Doug situation was probably motivated by time-saving/development than storytelling but I don't CARE because it was still a complete surprise.
I also thought two more characters would die who did in Episode 3 but I assumed it would be because of the latter biting another. What actually happened shocked the hell out of me and was perfectly believable in RETROSPECT but unexpected when it happened. I can't say I'm warming to the new characters very much, though.
Chuck, however, I assume can play, "The Last Pale Light in the West" so I'm okay with him.
Prepare yourself for a shit ton of feels and you should also avoid the forum because there is a lot of spoilers
Almost done with the game now.
This was an emotional ride, you guys weren't kidding.
I do think Episode 3 was the emotional high point, though.
Episode 4 tried too hard and I felt the Stranger was a let down.
You're in for a big, Fat ride full of depression. :P Season 2 is better though. IMO to be exact.
Don't forget 400days
I'll be interested in folk's recommendations when I'm finished. This is, hands down, one of the best video games I've ever played. I'll have a lot of thoughts on everything once I'm done if anyone is interested in hearing them.
Indeed it is. It was the game that introduced me to Telltale.
I'm interested, it's always fun to hear what others think about the game.
When I first played it I had no idea what I was in for. I went in with no expectations and It was different from any game that I'd played before.
My advice: Just play and experience the game for what it is.
Got to say I never knew that. If I enjoy something I always sit through all the credits, it's sort of to respect those that made something I enjoyed.
Like every person before me said - brace yourself because feels are coming! Herds of feels!
Of course during your playthrough there will be moments when you'll say to yourself
No one's that manly so i fixed the picture for you.

Yes another Korra fan
