Cure?

Will they ever find a cure by Episode 5 of Season 2, or could we expect a Season 3 to show us? It seems pretty reasonable they they should end this game as a trilogy.

  • A cure would make no sense

  • Why so?

it will probably be at the very end of the walking dead. Not at the end of Season 2.

  • I really have to explain?

    Why so?

I don't think so. They pretty much have to abide by the world created by Robert Kirkman. Unless he adds one in, I don't think we'll be seeing one.

  • Yeah, You have. The outbreak is a virus. Scientists can create a cure for it, They just need time. However, It's hard to do so because most of the human population is gone and the world isn't connected any longer. Will probably suggest that they'll find a cure, But not at the end of the season. Maybe at the very end of the walking dead.

  • The cure is some pepto and vinegar.

The problem is: all (or almost all) scientists are also dead...along with destroyed research labs that isn't a good mix for a cure. Plus, the have literally no idea what it is, in the Series there was this guy who was a researcher who said France was close to a 'vaccine' I think he called it. But the they lost contact, and I don't think France or any other country for that matter actually did it

And Kirkman already stated he'll probably never say what initially caused the outbreak, thus it's not possible to be found out (in theory)

  • Robert Kirkman would never allow that.

  • So, How'd he end it? I don't get it.

  • Who? The researcher? He died.

  • Robert Kirkman stated that there will be no cure in TWD. So no, there won't ever be a cure.

  • No. I mean Kirkman. How'd he end up the walking dead? Or it'll ongoing forever?

  • No. A cure will not be found in episode 5. Still, it appears a time skip happened in the comics, and I don't about you, but I think that's a good sign. Since before that the game was very close to the comics, timeline wise.

  • I would think that would be to much of a predictable ending. I want TTG to completely surprise us.

    The comic is still going.

  • I know. I mean how can he possibly end the comics if he doesn't use the cure idea?

He could kill everyone. He could have survivors and leave their fate ambiguous. If he chose to, he could just put his pen down and say I'm done. Anyway, apparently he has the entire series planned out in his head.

  • Kirkman said there will never be a cure.

  • Well, Seeing something new about the end of the ZA would be good, But going too far would ruin it. That's why I have concerns regarding Season 3.
