So did he do it?

I am not sure if this was ever answered so I'll ask. So we all know the crimes of Vince, Justin, and Danny from 400 days. Except for Vince and Justin, Danny maintains his innocence throughout his appearence in the game. He says he was falsely accused and if you tell him he was convicted for a reason he will respond that just because he was convicted doesn't mean he did it. However, if you choose to escape the bus with Danny, Russell comments on how he is glad Danny got killed before Shel and Becca showed up.

So do you guys think he was misunderstood and innocent, or just a lair?

Aside from this, Nate was accused of robbing the elderly couple in the diner, which he denys. However, given Nates behavior and history, do you think he tried to rob them while wearing a mask on a seperate occasion?

Danny did do it. He admits to doing "bad things" if you aim the shotgun at him. It's why I brought Justin along with me. I would rather have someone who lied to get money rather than someone who could take advantage of the women in my group. I was never going to let him come.

Yes, Danny more or less confirms it if you point the gun at him enough. That makes him have a tally of two lies, he says he didn't do it, and says he would never lie about it. He did both of those. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Nate did try to rob them earlier. He sounds awfully suspicious if you ask him what Walt (the old man) is talking about.

  • It never occured to me to point the gun at either of them for a long time. I might have to try it out myself. As for Nate, I think he did it. For me, the main clue is that Walt opened fire on him almost immediately. I think he might have recognized Nate's truck.

Yeah, I didn't think to point the guns at them enough times to hear all of the dialogue either. I think I found it on the wiki, and I'm pretty sure I saw a video of it.

  • lol same here

  • I tried to ignore the severity of their crimes beforehand, and instead looked at how they acted in the given situations. Justin is basically "That dude being murdered isn't our problem, leave them alone". Danny, on the other hand, insists on helping the guy. On top of that, when the idiot cop points a gun at the three of them, Danny stands up to the guy and convinces him to put the gun down. That, to me, suggests that he'd be the kind of guy who would have your back when shit hits the fan.

Not that it matters, I suppose, since he apparently dies eventually even if you take him with you.

  • Yeah he seemed a lot more loyal than Justin did...
