What do you think Ben would be like now, if he'd lived?
I think after two years, Ben would be a lot different.
From the admittedly wimpy, though well meaning screw up that he was, I think Ben would've become a courageous, handy individual.
Not to mention a lot more mature!
I think Ben would've become a good guy of strong moral character, someone who was industrious and competent, and someone who also would've developed good people skills and insight.
All that takes time to develop, something that Ben didn't get.
I saw Ben as someone who nobody ever gave a chance to, nor who showed much confidence in.
That's why I, as Lee, tried to do just that.
Even sticking up for him when doing so was admittedly difficult.
Ben was actually one the ones I was looking forward to seeing in the next game, as I was curious to see how his character would've grown and matured since the 1st.
That's what I was thinking, while I was playing the game for the very first time.
After I saved him at Crawford, I didn't expect him to die the very next episode.
That was a surprise to me!

Interesting question. I think he could have redeemed himself in 105 and then disappear. And in S2, We'd see a responsible Ben who can take care of himself and not a screw-up.
Well, if Ben DID survive Season 1, I think Telltale would've pulled an "Omid" on Ben.
I agree. He wouldn't have lasted halfway through the first episode, anyway. He was a foil character, telltale would have had to reintroduce that to this season and that would have been annoying for them to do.
It would be awesome to see Ben do something ''badass'' at least once.
It seems like Telltale focused more in making him screw up at every possible task.

I think he'd be even taller than he already was.
Im usually a big sop when it comes to characters like ben but I can honestly say I never had the time of day for him, he was dumb beyond belief and I simply couldn't trust him with the simplest of tasks, im usually over forgiving of people when they screw up but he was just.................. dumb...
Personly I dont think he would be all that different, if your dumb you can't be taught other wise, I dont think he did the things he did due to lack of experience, he was just dumb as a block of wood. His heart was In the right place but no....... no sorry he was a handicap to the team..

I dont think he would have changed, he was born that way, thats just the way it is, i wanted kenny's bumper sticker slapped on the back of bens jack (you know "shit happens" sticker) because man that boy needed it...
He would be alive if Kenny save ben, ben would need medical attention.
I'd hope he would be more cautious and responsible. It's a shame we never got to see him do something "badass".
It was a damn shame for me because at the end of episode 4 Ben said "I promise, before this is all over, I will do something right." and I was super hyped for Ben going all hero, standing up for his fear of pain and a painful death and rescuing someone at the cost of his own life and suffering, that would have been a good way to end him, but no just end him without living up to his awesome quote
He'd (hopefully) would've been a lot more independent. Although character development works both ways. For all I know about him, he could also have shaped up to be an anti social assface. I only say that because Ben was a bit "odd."

he would have been probably been braver and more mentally strong then the last season.
He rescues Lee if you don't manage to make the jump from the bell tower and he does stand up to Kenny but that's about it. I would have loved it if he got to prove himself more before he died.

But after how Kenny tried to save him, it seems that Kenny had put his anger and animosity aside, at least long enough to try to help Ben anyway.
Perhaps that feeling would've carried over into season 2 if Ben had lived.

Like Kenny, who obviously has "survivor's guilt," after seeing all his friends and family die in season 1.
I feel like he'd be fairly quiet, but helpful and respectful, but when things don't go his way, he can snap in an instant.
I guess he'd be slightly neurotic, from what I could see. I also think he'd be much more defiant (But hesitantly so).
I do like how realistic it is, though. We don't know if he really was going to make it all up, but it doesn't matter. He ran out of time and died in vain. It's much more realistic that way, but harrowing when you think about it.

I think he and Kenny would have formed some sort of bond. Especially if Kenny had succeeded in saving him at that alley, they'd be stuck together for a long time. Imagine finding Ben and Kenny at the lodge
Like, Kenny realized when Ben snapped at him that he was just a kid who had lost his entire family as well. I think they'd find some common ground.
I could see them developing some sort of relashionship similar to that of Pete and Nick,even if they're not related like them.
Kenny would still be harsh on him in order to help him "grow up" and joke around calling him a "shitbird", but he'd come to care for him.

Well, since it'd be two years in the future, maybe Ben would start growing a beard, and Kenny and Ben could finally be friends.
