  • giving you choices that do nothing more than show a person's morality has pretty much been what this season's done. give water to the guy at river, nothing happens, give it to pete, nothing happens. choose to go with pete, and you only learn a little about him. nothing can be changed by any previous choices, he doesn't even get a chance for a goodbye. take the watch and give it to nick? well, he opens up a little, but only says the same stuff he would had you gone with him in ep 1, minus the chance for a swig of moonshine. did you keep the watch? who cares! nick's either dead or a wallflower now anyway. were you able to spare alvin in episode 2? congrats, he gets to be tortured now. atleast he goes out like a champ, tho.

i swear, it feels like we're playin by "Final Destination"s rules, where any choice you make doesn't really matter, it only changes how horribly a person dies.

If Sarita gets away from the walkers after screaming her head off, she should only survive if you chopped her arm off. Otherwise she should

  • Wasn't it the same in season 1 though?

not on the same scale. choices made had lingering effects. piss kenny or lily off, and they'd hold it against you for the rest of the episode or, in kenny's case, the entire friggen game. save doug or carley? they may not hold a big role, but they're there and actively doing something up until they die. did you save ben? he got a chance to shut kenny up and felt like an active person, rather than just kinda floating around in the background till they decided to kill him off.

there's a few points where what you did had no effect, but atleast whether you fed mark or not made a bigger impact than whether you gave the bottle of water to pete or the guy at the river. its things like that. even if doesn't change the outcome, feeling like our choices matter and showing that just cause a person could have or will die doesn't mean that they should just cop out and remove them till they're ready for the headsman's axe.

  • Wrong reply. Oops. XD XD

    Wrong thread. Oops.

  • I didn't think it through fully. Now I think about it, your choices do have a longer effect.
If your a bitch to Rebecca, she forgets about it and is lovely to you in the next episode.
But be a bitch to Kenny or Lilly and they'll remember it.
The whole "_____ will remember that" doesn't seem to be entirely true this season.
