Non-drinker, tell us why or make your case. Any and all discussion is welcome.

Cheers!

I'm a beer guy for the most part; Moosehead and Yuengling Lager are a couple of my favorites, the hipsters can have their IPA's. ;) Gin & Tonics are great in the summer. **Bombay Sapphire Gin, Schweppes Tonic Water and fresh Lime Juice over Ice* is my preferred recipe. Don't bother using shitty, inexpensive gin, just ain't the same.

My first time drinking was on vacation in the Dominican Republic. It was a shitty Domincan pilsner called El Presidente...shit was nasty.

  • Only on Special Events for me.

Most of the Time i drink Mixed Stuff. Beer too but don't like the Taste of it that much.

First Time drinking was on my Graduation After-Party. Was pretty funny. No Embarassment luckily ^^

On an New Years Eve i just gave me half a Bottle of Jägermeister. Pure. Dat Headache the morning after.. epic.

  • Only alcohol I like is Sex on the Beach because of it's low alcohol. Mmmmhhh... tastes like orange juice.

  • I frequently seek out beers I haven't tried before. Fortunately, there are quite a lot to choose from.

I have plenty of hard liquor around, but I hardly ever drink it, which is why it stays around so long. There was a particular kind of juice that was a good mixer, but they discontinued the juice, so I don't mix it as much.

  • Jack Daniels the only friend i can rely on.

  • I like a good beer every now and then. I also like Jack Daniels.

  • Im 16.I shouldn't drink, but if you pay me 100 dollars,I'll drink some cooking wine

  • Maaaan, that's nasty.

Also, at least wait until you're 18 to drink underage. ;)

  • I'm not really a fan of the taste of most alcohols. I mainly stick with weaker mixed drinks and hard ciders.

  • I've never been terribly fond of spirits or most mixed drinks for the same reason. Beer took a little while to get used to and a rather long time to appreciate. I never would have stuck with, but I had a bout of ITP last year and had to swear off tonic water until that fixed itself. Depriving a man of his favorite beverage can drive him to do crazy shit.

I used to drink Hoegaarden, but lately i been sticking to Jack or Jameson. Now and then i 'll get a bottle of grey goose, but only when i'm feeling frosty. I just don't get drunk on vodka, i can drink the whole bottle and be fine, now give me a fifth of whiskey and i'll be waking up in a ditch the following morning.

    Good times.

I can't stand vodka. Nasty shit. I prefer whiskey or rum.

Dunno if you have tried it, but, you should drink Steinlager beer. It's great. Brewed right here in New Zealand and exported.

I don't drink at all. Though that's because I've been raised to know that alcohol is bad for you. I've also been raised to never smoke.

  • No, right now, i been on a whiskey kick. Jameson whiskey is my favorite right now, its so GD smooth.

  • Not old enough to drink. Not sure if I really want to either, alcohol smells nasty x_x.

  • Exactly.

  • Alcohol is only bad if you drink too much or have a predisposition/family history of alcoholism. Agree about smoking though.

  • Alcohol actually has some health benefits if consumed properly, but not enough that you should start drinking if you don't otherwise want to.

Smoking is very bad for you, for those around you, and for your computer equipment. Don't ever start doing that.

  • Vodka is my typical poison of choice, though I'll usually try most anything that isn't tequila.

Me and that a**hole are archenemies.

As far as beer goes, I'm quite fond of Yuengling and Bud Light Lime as standard, but can go for the higher brau stuff whenever I have moneys to spend.

  • What did Tequila every do to you?...other than cause you to wake up in an alley with a massive hangover...

Light beer tastes too much like water for me. To each his/her own, I suppose.

  • I typically agree, especially after I've had some of the better rounds with Sam Adams and their collection of greatness and the few imports that I try to go over. Bud Light Lime... I don't know. It's my guilty pleasure. It is the sh**y pop song I sing along to in my car when no one is watching. It's delightfully light, tastes almost like soda, and I can drink a billion of them before I'm drunk.

... Maybe that last one doesn't count.

Oh, and if you talk about the things tequila has done to you it wins.

I'm too young to drink, but my granpa let me taste beer n the last news year celebration. It didn't taste good but not very bad either.
I actually have one beer bottle hidden in my room, but I haven't drank it yet. I was about to drink it during MM hockey finales, but Finland lost so I didn't.

I think I'm just gonna throw it away, I don't even like alcohol, it makes people do stupid things and may ruin your life. I ratherly drink limonad.

  • ok. more for me.

  • Assuming that one beer will lead you down the road to becoming a alcoholic hobo is a serious case of the slippery slope. I've enjoyed alcohol on a regular basis for the last two years and I've never been drunk to the point of doing something stupid or getting a hangover. Okay, I did once, but I'm pretty sure I was drugged, so it doesn't count. It really depends on what kind of drunk you are. If I have a couple drinks, I become more charming and charismatic; any more than that, I get tired.

I'd still toss it if I were you. Warm beer that's been sitting in a room forever will probably taste like ass, anyway. ;)

  • That is the fun of drinking to drink so much where you end up somewhere and you can't remember how you got there. Thinking back i had so much fun at college, and now its as fun but it has its moments. Nothing like parking in your ditch, and sleeping in it till the sun rises.

Oh, okay, lucky I didn't drink it :)

I have a friend who is an alcoholic and he's only 15 years old. I also have other stupid Friends and at parties they always try to get me drink all kind of nasty alcohol drinks. I'm sure that one beer could not make me become an alcoholict, but still, I don't wanna even drink that one beer. I just don't like it, no offense or anything you alcohol lovers :)

He also went to stomach vantage because he got poisoned for drinking so much.

  • i once dated a girl who drank a fifth of Wild Turkey, she weighed maybe 100 lbs, wet. Oh Trisha, she would get drunk and trash my house to the point i didn't want her coming over anymore. She was just having fun, fun times. What is stomach vantage?

I am a very bad scotch addict. Even put it in cheerios once.

I don't actually drink quite as much as that would make it sound. But I tend to overindulge myself when I do. It takes me a while to get drunk.

  • I usually cut mine with soda water, but to each his own. That is pretty awesome.

  • There's a good probability it wasn't very good, but I think I was too into it to care about it. :S
