But he got shot in the--You know what? Fine.
Clem and Christa believed Omid was dead, but he ripped the bullet from his chest and is now looking for them.
Is that Better?
It's just a THEORY. Think about it, we went into Crawford for him and he gets killed off in the first 5 minutes. It could possibly be a happy reunion and Omid and Christa could raise the baby.
But Kenny was completely different, he had several hints in his scene that alluded to his survival. The developers cutting out his death audio cemented it.
Omid was shot in the chest and lost consciousness. If you lose consciousness like that after being shot and losing so much blood so fast, you're not waking up without medical attention. Omid did not have that and Christa probably shot him in the head to prevent him from turning. That's standard burial procedure in the comics and the show, if someone dies, destroy the brain.
Lee and Omid weren't talking about Parker's Run. They were talking about a place near Georgia, and Clementine and her group are located up north at the moment.
Omid was shot dead!
And Christa was presumably trapped by a group of deviants, and likely raped and killed.
Sorry to be so graphic and brutal, regarding Christa's demise, but that is sadly/probably what happened.
If Kirkman has anything to say about it, she's likely alive. He has a thing for putting anyone and everyone through horrifying experiences and having them come out the other side... well, as very different people.
I would not be shocked to see Christa come back in the last two episodes (or even season three, for that matter)... maybe even as an antagonist, particularly to Clem (whatever happened with the baby, she seemed none to happy with Clem in EP1).

Oh god yes. You don't survive gsw's to the chest in the middle of no where with no medical attention unless your first name is "Logan" or your last name is "Macleod". There is of course, the Brock Samson loophole as well.
Third, I made the same mistake. I thought that the Civil War site that Lee and omid were talking about was Parker's Run, too. But it's actually Quantrill's Raid.

Raped and killed? Raped?! No, I highly doubt she was raped. We hear a gunshot, yes, but who said that Christa never had a gun, or grabbed one of their guns?
Think about it, if we were Christa and we got away from those bandits, would Christa think that Clementine is dead since she saw Winston go after her? We never saw what happened in that 16 month time skip, we don't know how capable of killing people Christa actually is. If Clementine can escape Winston, who do you think taught her to do it?

Woah, woah, what the fuck?

First of all, "That's fuckin' stupid, Ben."
Second of all, Omid is dead. Forever. Let it go.
Third, I made the same mistake. I thought… more that the Civil War site that Lee and omid were talking about was Parker's Run, too. But it's actually Quantrill's Raid.
When you first meet Christa and Omid, Kenny'll say "Let me go show you how the train works just in case something happens to me." Omid will be in there, and then there's a hub. You can talk to Clementine and Christa, and if you go inside the train, Omid and Lee have that conversation.

With Kirkman and George R.R. Martin, I just usually find it safest to assume that the absolute worst thing possible will always happen. It's like Occcam's Razor, except in this scenario it's an actual razor and my psyche is what it's slicing into.

Yeah, I get that. It's Kirkman's way of life or something like that.
But I highly doubt they'd implement something like that, considering that it wasn't really implemented in the game at all in the first season, DLC, and what's happened so far in season 2. (Besides Jolene's daughter, who was just a side plot).

Comments
If you know then why did you name it 'Omid and Christa will return (Theory)' and why did you say "I have multiple arguments for why they could return"
hey, i'm not insulting you! it's just a joke, you don't need to be so serious on that!
I was just saying. xD
alive_clem isn't being a douche he/she is just telling you the truth you are the one being a douche acting in denial and all
LOL "He ripped the bullet out of his chest" That made my day.
He was shot on the right side, the heart's on the left.. Most likely a lung injury, without proper medical care he is still pretty much dead.
just to let you know, I just downvoted the comments that you insulted me, I think is fair enough, don't you?
Why do people say he got shot in the heart?!
We all know how nipple shots are deadly...
thank you
Nipple shots are serious business.
It was fucking stupid thing to say, Ben.
People usually die when shot in the chest. Like this
I'm pretty certain Christa is coming back, but Omid, no, he's dead. It would be bad writing if he wasn't.
" alt="Alt text" title="Optional title" />
he died from loss of blood..
And collapsed lung.
I'm gonna say that you NEVER PLAYED Season 2 episode 1...."let's say that's a THEORY."
[removed]
Wrong area.its dead center of the upper chest.its in between the lungs and hidden slightly by the stomach.
There are such things as completely wrong theories.
But Kenny was completely different, he had several hints in his scene that alluded to his survival. The developers cutting out his death audio cemented it.

Those are somewhat hard to grow back. Go ask Zuckuss.
maybe omid ghost!!!!!!!because he shot how whould he survived????????

I think the only point of him having an interest in history was to create a connection between him and Lee, who happened to be a history professor.

But saying that Omid will come back, isn't that far-fetched?
Cause if I'm reading the theory correctly, is that not what he's implying?

Yeah, good ol' Wolverine!

Sometimes people just get lucky.
In the game, Kenny is a wonderful example of that!
When did Lee and Omid have that discussion?
At this moment, I do not remember the conversation, nor when they had it.

Not gonna lie, I read that first part in Luke's voice.
I did when I wrote it, too. Haha.
