EDIT: For those of you who don't know, the song is referring to the 1992 Rodney King Riots. Despite the title, I'm pretty sure they're referring to the riots in L.A.
Good taste in music! K-Dot is one of the best lyricists in the industry today and the production on his tracks is top notch.
I'm partial… more to m.a.a.d city, myself. I almost lost my shit in the middle of that song when the beat turns into old-school G-Funk and MC Eiht shows up out of nowhere. That shit was legendary.
Decided to listen to some Reggae and Punk Rock today for a change of pace; enter Sublime. Bonus points for a cool homemade music video.
… moreThought about posting "Doin' Time", but couldn't find a good video on YouTube.

It's crazy the government didn't see the writing on the wall. People don't write songs called 'Fuck The Police' when everything is sunshine and rainbows. It's a shame that perfectly legit greivances had to devolve into a bunch of people looting stores and beating the shit out of random White/Asain people.
Nostalgic flashback? All I remember of those days was when I watched Zombie Island over and over again as a kid, and when I've seen a lot of the episodes on tv as well!

Who says hip-hop and 60's rock can't go well together? This song has soon great guitar parts by George Harrison's son and the frontman of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It doesn't real,y have the classic Wu sound, but I don't think that's such a bad thing.

Thanks! Couldn't agree more.
Yeah, they are. My dad was actually arrested during the LA riots, (not so) fun fact.

Just a chill, fun track by Kendrick Lamar and the rest of Black Hippy. I think it was recorded for Schoollboy Q's debut album.

Zombie Island was great.
I think my favorite one was Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase, though.
Avril Lavigne - I'm with you... Haha, sorry I'm so sorry I'm a disgrace but as a kid she was my favouite ;_;
This is the single greatest thing I've ever heard!

The intro skit is kinda long, but it really sets the dark atmosphere of the album. The GZA's lyrical ability is unmatched.
EDIT: Is that not the most metal cover art ever to grace a rap album?
I thought that it'd be best for me to revisit a classic song by the Smashing Pumpkins.

Pretty sure Anselmo is a Celtic Frost fan.
He is, and he might even have a Celtic Frost tattoo, although I'm not entirely certain of that. I do know that he's joined them on stage though.
