I definitely agree that he should have played a bigger part in episode three. I think they didn't know how to include him very much with the determinant status he has. Maybe we'll get more scenes with him in the next episode? Ben gave me hope for this since he had great scenes and development if you chose to save him in episode four.
Look at the bright side, he's the first determinant character in a long time to live longer than around an episode after a determinant death.
Nick is not stronger than Luke just because Luke gets over things faster. In fact, that makes Luke the stronger one. He cared about Pete as well and his whole family died long before Nick's, Nick has an itchy trigger finger and still lets his losses effect him while Luke tries to take a leader position and help others all the time. I love Nick's character but he's not as strong as Luke. Telltale just didn't make him to be.
I just feel like who nick really is is hiding under all these problems he has. I think he could be really helpful he could get over all the deaths he's seen but it might not happen. Yea he has been around a while for a determinant character.

I'm sure they made Nick to be the suicidal type considering the home he was brought up in, which I can relate to. When the good things in your life leave, you feel like there's nothing left to live for. It's why in episode 3 he was very quiet, and I'm sure the bridge situation really hit him. I think he wants to stay in the background more so he doesn't screw up again. But that's only the story side of it.
The Telltale side is that they haven't done character development and they really need to. Especially in the other characters that aren't Kenny or Clementine.

I agree with your points. Nick does really seem like that type now that i think about it.
Yes I would like to see more from the characters that aren't Clem or Kenny because I already care about them but why should I care about these new guys? I know a lot of people say this but having hubs would cool. I can live without them but if they were there I'd be cool with it. You know just so I can see what everyone is like when they're not in survival mode.

Yea a lot of the cabin people are. I feel like I should have really felt for Sara when Carlos died like I should have felt like her world ended right there which it did but I didn't feel it.

We can't exactly say he's missing... Just because Kenny said "Where the fuck is Luke?!" doesn't mean he ran off again. He could still be trying to escape the herd. By the achievements, they all split up.
I wouldn't say Luke was under developed, he had alot of good moments in Ep. 2.
Telltale just kind of put him in the sidelines in Ep 3. And now Luke is missing again in Ep 4.
It seems like that guy is running away from development.

True, actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure there's an attack according to the achievements about midway-end of the episode... GODDAMNIT, LUKE.

He's a good shot at least(hit Matthew right in the neck from a decent distance if I recall correctly). That's about where his talents end. He doesn't make good decisions and acts too quickly, and he can't use depression as an excuse for that. Like I said, I love his character, but he's not cut out for something like being a leader.
Good points.

I kinda feel like most of the new characters introduced this season are underdeveloped, I feel that way because in the first season we actually got to know allot about each character, but I still like the season 2 characters

I hope we get to stop and have long discussions with the characters, one of main reasons last season was longer is because of the dialogue, and the dialogue wasn't just boring stuff but the characters said things that created an impact on the player and how they look at those characters.

yea hopefully we get a little of that this season.
A great place would at the motel or hotel or whatever that you see in the episode 4 trailer. kind of like a homage to season 1.

Ironically, Nick is one of the more developed characters in season two.

And I don't think that happened on purpose.
Maybe i'm wrong but I feel like luke is a bit forced.
He is no where near forced, he's under developed.
So naturally they would put the most developed character as determinant.
I mean just for episode 3.
To me, I think the cabin survivors just need to develop more. That's it. Meaning hubs, one on one dialogue, etc.
Yea a lot of the cabin people are. I feel like I should have really felt for Sara when Carlos died like I should have felt like her world ended right there which it did but I didn't feel it.
Not many people did considering Sarah is annoying to them. But lately I've been feeling for her, and how bad it must feel.
Yea I'm starting to understand Sara more.

Episode 2 was his episode but then he left. He's never around long enough to be developed.
Because development leads to determinant, determinant leads to death, death leads to... well death is death and now you are a barely developed corpse.
Yea he could be but we don't know what part of the game that's from.
True, actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure there's an attack according to the achievements about midway-end of the episode... GODDAMNIT, LUKE.
Ah yea gotta love that luke
We gotta put a tracker on that boy.
Yea i bet he was on the track team as much as he runs. bad joke
it's a funny guy
Goddamnit, yes we do.
OH MY GOD, DUDE.
Conchita Wurst
i'm ok with this.
poor hank

Yea me too.
My season 2 favorites are Sara, nick and rebecca. Oh pete was cool too. I feel you know the most about the characters I named.
We knew a bit more about Rebecca than we needed to xd
Little bit

I think we will have a chance to talk to all of the characters at "the meeting place", probably at the museum too
