The guy that was dying in the river and asked for some water is the same guy that was with Ralph and Winston.His name is Victor and one of his line is:"Hey, forget about the girl, we gotta go! Just finish her!" —Victor telling Winston to execute Clementine.Well that's another reason why you shouldn't give him water,he would have killed you if Winston had caught you. "Jesus are you fucking kidding me?"

I only gave him water in the hope that he would tell us about Christa and whether she got away.
I didn't give him water, because I wanted him to talk first...
they may have lost their humanity but clementine hasnt so i give him water.
I was expecting to have a option to say " I give you the water if you tell me what happened to Christa!" But it didn't happen.
Even if there was an option like this he couldn't answer because he was out of strength.So why waste clear water?
Meh, I suppose in that situation I can't assess his condition, but I gave him water because I hoped if he did he'd give me info. A lot of people go the torture route on a lot of questioning (and not to get political), but interrogation is much more about rapport than than anything else. In the case of torture people tend to tell you what you want to hear so you'll stop hurting them.
I did so that he would say something about Christa, but whatever by the end of the season we will find her.

That would be really cool, but obviously Telltale wouldn't let him end the phrase.
I gave him water because im above him, im better than he is, he wanted to kill me but when i had the choice to let him die i chose compassion and to be a better person, in my opinion i think he will make a return in ep 4 or ep 5 and then whatever happens happens

It's basic human decency; he lacked it, Clementine doesn't.
I kinda felt like this was like the St. Johns and Carver's choices, where you choose to go down to an antagonists level to get revenge or refuse to do and keep your morality and humanity. So yeah, I gave him water.

It doesn't matter if you are good or bad in the zombie apocalypse.I mean they may seem like like they need help but it may be a trap so the scavengers could get you,thats highly impossible but you got to get yourself through before making a decision.I personally didn't give him water because of vengeance,which is a pretty good reason for someone that tried to kill you.
He got nothing from me. Not water, not sympathy. As far as I know, he murdered my only ally and friend in the whole world (at least up to that point). So, fuck him.
