Do games save on disc version apply to PSN version?

I played the Walking Dead on PS3 based on the disc version I borrowed from a friend. I completed the first three episodes. The PSN season pass is on sale this week and I thought this is a good chance to own the series myself.

Will my disc game save apply to the PSN version so that my choices in episodes 1-3 will apply to episode 4-5? Both disc and PSN are Australian versions (which are PAL).

    I got the disc version too and when I bought the Season Pass off of the PS Store, the game had kept all of my save files. Don't worry about losing where you left off.

    I will probably end up buying the digital and disc versions just in case :p
