Theory about who's with that hoodie 50/50 sure about it

Alt text

So like you saw in this pic there's a lot to say. From my previous topic "ShaneWalsh" said: "Maybe it's psycho Steve and his group." then after some minutes this guy "dojo32161" said:"...Steve is just mentioned by Russel." so I went to youtube and rewatched the scene when Russel is telling Nate who was with before being alone.
For what he said there was a leader in his group and he was bad and wanted just 7 people on his group because the nº7 is the lucky number. So wherever he goes, he kills people for supplies or when they have like 5 people, Steve order his group to kill the other people and let 2 people alive to go with him,if you know what I mean.

So I thought, Clem is with Luke,Bonnie and Kenny. They are 4 persons and you can clearly see(from screenshot) that each one is point at 4 people.
So my guess is:

  • The guy with hoodie COULD be Steve, the main leader from that group at least.
  • The group consist of 4 people(Steve and the other 3)
  • From what we heard about Melissa Hutchison(Clem voice),she cried when she finished this episode.
  • Maybe one of Clem's currently group will die or maybe we will need to choose who to die (maybe that's why she cried in the end of the episode).
  • And you guys could ask me, why someone is going to die? That's because Steve's group have 4 persons and Clem's group 4 too, so Steve will take them all to a certain area(maybe Wellington) but at least one will die because of the rule of nº7 from Steve.Maybe kenny will die.The guy who do his voice acting said that his best quote from ep.4 it's:"It feels... peaceful".
If you guys join all these pieces that could make sense.
Maybe that's why ep.5 title is "NO GOING BACK" because there's no going back to save kenny, but about this part I don't know,it's too earlier to talk about it.

What do you guys think?

  • I actually think Episode 5 is titled "No Going Back" because Clementine dies (if she does).

  • I don't think so.Maybe there will be some sort of choice that you'll have that will affect S3.Maybe picking Kenny or Luke.

  • Holy Boat... Yeah that's pretty damn logical if you ask me.

  • Wow... good theory, that would be awesome :) But then, we would have to choose between 3 people, the question is, why would be Clementine to choose who is the one to die? That is what I don't understand...

  • I'm predicting so idk.I think kenny will be determinant in this episode, i've a mad feeling about that...

  • Could be right and the majority of the people say that but idk if it's going to be that way.
I think ep.4 and season finale will be very good episodes. But Season finale will be more like cliffhanger, i have a feeling of that.

  • It could be Eddie

  • It'd be cool to see Steve and his group but I don't think Clem and the group would take him up on his offer. I think Clem's group would rather go alone and stick together rather than kill one of themselves so the rest could go off with a group of strangers.

  • It's an interesting theory... but that will mean there's alot deaths happening in this episode. (Jane, Mike, Rebecca+baby, Possibly Sarita & Nick) I don't see Luke just abandoning them and it's a pretty strange divide if that's how the group gets split up..

I do think it's more likely Steve or a new character (probably just bandits) than Victor or Tavia though...

  • "(Jane, Mike, Rebecca+baby, Possibly Sarita & Nick) I don't see Luke just abandoning them" I don't think that all the others(not in picture) would die, that doesn't make sense. And I didn't say that Luke was going to left us behind, that's probably happening before this scene.

Am I the only one who finds these gifs slightly racist? Not saying you're racist, I know it's a meme... But still... It's like

  • Steve reminds me a bit of Joe and his group from the TV series, making silly little rules and wrecking peoples lives.

But, to stay on topic: I think I missed who Steve was (I try to avoid the promotional materials for the episode a few days/weeks before it comes out, just for the surprise) I would imagine somebody from the group would die, some people think it is Sarita, but part of me finds that all too predictable. I feel like the 'pizza' 'ice cream' is all a ruse, and either Luke or Kenny will die, outside of Clementine's choices. I think somebody will die, maybe Rebecca while she's still preggers, or one one of the 400 days group who joined up later... I don't think Telltale would give us too much of a clue and I like it that way.

  • did you read my other topic i created before?the one who talks about the 2 screenshots comparing to the achievements? It explains when this pic happens.
In my theory, this image is the last achievement of the ep.4 and the CURRENTLY group of Clem have just 4 people.

That's exactly my point but you said Clems group only consisted of 4 people..

  • I'm thinking Eddie because of the title screen

  • Its a good theory Bogas, it could very well be that Steve guy and his gang.

  • I know it's very complicate :D
We need to see the trailer, maybe today they release it.

  • IMO No Going Back means:

Clem has changed, and there's no going back to her old self.

  • I don't think so. I don't read every discussion thread -that would take forever- and there's no link to it in the first post. However, now you've said that, it does make a bit more sense but I still don't think we'll be down to just Bonnie, Luke, Clem and Kenny.

Like I said, it's an interesting theory. I'm just stating my own personal opinion.
