Is PC the master race?

I play all my games currently on Xbox 360, but I know for a fact I don't want to waste money on an Xbox One, and I'm not even a huge gamer. Should I just make the switch to PC?

Sometimes. Despite the superior hardware we're pretty much always at the mercy of whether or not developers actually optimize, as Ubisoft is making abundantly clear...

But technically speaking, yes. There are graphics cards that aren't even entirely new that are so ahead of 'next gen' consoles that it's laughable.

  • One word: MODS

  • Nurp, bastard ass requirements gets on me nerves.

  • Nope, I play both on Steam and Playstation and online gaming is more fun on Playstation because of the very friendly community and no text chat.
I'm not saying steam community isn't friendly because it is but you get judged waaay to much.

  • You can mod on consoles too.

  • It depends what you're after. Personally, I'm neither willing, nor able to keep dropping cash to keep my system up to date. Xbox has it's shortcomings, but my $299 console lasted me for almost six years.

I've owned quite a few consoles and I've been playing on my laptop too for quite a while. Even tho the laptop sucks I've kinda gotten a grasp of how PC gaming works. I spend all of my time on PC and I really do enjoy it, so I planned to switch over to PC gaming. Money is kinda tight right now, but I was able to get a graphics card (MSI R7 260X 2GB) and I just need to buy my other parts (about $400). I just really like PC gaming alot, but I've only gotten a little of the experience because I'm limited with my laptop. The Free 2 Play games and exclusives are great and also... the mods xD Here's something I modded into L4D2.

If you spend your money wise 400 is enough for most games on atleast medium settings. You should be able to play all Telltale games on max setting and 60 fps.

  • No one cares about this master race BS. Seriously play whatever you want, can't stand that stupid moronic fanboi nonsense.

  • Yeah I agree but if there will ever be a season 3 of the walking dead or season 2 of Wolf among us I'm playing it on pc. Tired of the terrible fps each time there is a new cutscene.

Agreed 100%. I'm playing TFTB on PC too, and its going to be my first PC game. But for any future games, including sequels for TWD and TWAU, I'm playing it on PC. My only regret is that it will auto choose decisions for me instead of keeping my decisions from the previous season.

  • My opinion is that this "master race" talk is bullshit. Both PC and consoles have positives and negatives about them. Why does one have to be better than the other? I really do wonder if the people who argue over such things have lives.
